Why are people so excited about Donovan 2.0? The Jazz never made a deep playoff run with Mitchell and it had a lot to do with his poor defense and tendency to dominate the ball.
Why should I be excited about an even worse version of Mitchell if I want to see the Jazz win a title?
Maybe I’m in the minority but if Key turns out to be borderline all-star level talent then this season is still a success if we end up losing our pick.
Lauri/Key/Kessler/Ace plus a solid starter we can obtain with draft capital in the off season could certainly be a top 6 playoff team next season. Feel free to call me delusional though.
