NHL Highlights | Sharks vs. Penguins – December 13, 2025
right off the bat. Yeah, it’s got to feel good for him to be back in the mix. And that’s a long time to be out, right, and sit and watch. So for him, this is He’s right back in there. He’s on the top line. That’s off the glass past Dickinson. And he’s got it over the line. Centers it for Novak all alone. Stopped by Escarov. The tank caught up ice. He was driving the net on that opportunity and Der was back. Celebrini again in front and Sheila shuts the door on Smith. So you’re telling me there’s a chance? I’m telling you there’s a chance. Yeah, with him there is. They score off the face off. A deep shot from Tyler to Foley beats Ry Sheils and the Sharks have the first goal here this afternoon. Come up with it right here off the face off. It’s Wenberg. Look at the rotation. Real high. It’s Tofoley and no one wants to get all the way up there with him. Mcgory has to drop off of his defenseman and Sheiloffs just didn’t see that. And guys kind of passing by but not not too close in front of him. But goals goals and five of their last six on the power play. Special teams usually a factor for this Penguins team. Yeah, you’re right. Ever since that San Jose power play, things have definitely been tilted in the Sharks favor. Penguins will look to tilt it back here. Mantha steps in, shoots, save made, rebound, score. Crosby in front, puts it past and the Penguins have tied it on a power play goal from the captain. Well, 8 seconds. That’s all it took into this power play. This is this power play for the Penguins. And it can be a major difference maker. Sid wins the draw. Guys fall down in front which leaves that weak side wide open. And Mantha just a pass off the pad just throws it into traffic and Crosby just hovers into that area and bounces right back on his and look out the pass missed Raquel. Smith is loose on a breakaway save and a guy I call the junkyard dog. Heavy on the forche in there getting loose pucks making things happen. That’s where he’s valuable. Good at winning battles and making plays off of there. extending ozone times and good player in a lot of different situations. Van Muse starts Kindle with McGordy and Brazo to start this second period. Puck hops past Latang out to center. Kindle passing ahead for McGory. He’s going to turn it back up ice. Make a move. A shot. Score. Rucker McGra with a snipe. His first of the year. The Penguins take their first lead of the game. Well, he had no points and I was saying, hey, that kid line, they got to get going. They switch the lines here today. And a puck has bounced over the stick out to the neutral zone. Rucker McGordy collects and transitions that puck a little dipsy doodle. Changes the angle of attack here on veteran defenseman Nick Ley getting him doing crossovers and then just decides to rip it from oh from a good Brian Shay go to work and try to make something happen. Shay a drive kicked out by the left leg of Yaroslav as another shot comes in front. Ajari backed off. He scores. A little depth production from the Penguins and Kevin Hayes is on the board. It’s 3-1 for the Penguins on one side lead to that Chay chance. This one another chance by Chay on a one draw and then just worked around. A block shot lands right on the tape of Achari. And look at Hayes. He just backs out of that area. so smart as soon as he sees that. And Ascarov has a long way to go to get to that. And that’s not easy either by Hay. Cosby sends it around to Russ. 30 seconds in the period. Here’s Carlson. Back to Rust. One-time save. Ascarov. Raquel couldn’t step it in. Ascarov unreal with his legs. Here’s Carlson. Rusk back door. Raquel. The feet in front is loose. Rust shot sells wide. 10 seconds in the period. Crosby. Rusk scores. You cannot stop this power play. You can only hope to contain it. Oh my. They’re going to have to get Ascarov on the IV between periods. This second period has just been a shooting gallery. And same thing on the power play here to end this period. That’s gr. All right, ready for third period action. This game three of the fivegame home stand for the Penguins in the front end of a weekend backto back as the Pens will host the Utah Mammoth here tomorrow afternoon. Look to get some work done here in short order on this remaining time on this power play. Loose in the corner. Sharks trying to get possession. Penguins nearly do. Raquel shovels it up the wall to Mantha. Then Crosby. And here’s Carlson. Back to Crosby. Carlson throws it to Rust in front. Loose. They score. The third power play goal of this game for the Penguins. And so this special teams in this power play is getting the job done here tonight. A good job winning that puck battle out of the corner. Samantha really with a good pass to relieve the pressure and get it out of there. And then just the big man net front. We’ve seen him on the power play on the outside a lot. He gets to the net. 20 seconds of the five on three for San Jose. They’re going to make a dent in the game. This is the time to do it. A shot from Clingberg. Missed the net to Foley. Keeps it alive. 10 seconds of the five on three. Here’s Clingberg. fire scores and John Clingberg capitalizes on the five on three for the Sharks. Five on three. The first time he walked through and just an elevated shot missed and got back just behind Ekan. Try to throw it back through in into the front of the net. Blberg to celebr says no good here in the third period. Back behind the net, tosses it back door. Arur Sheila shuts the door and they score on the rebound. The Sharks just keep on pushing and eventually get the bounce. It’s Ecklund. It’s 5-3. What do you ask of this man? How did he make that save? Wenberg all the way across. Even the second one down and out and Ekkan finally tracks down that puck. Wenberg had to go forehand to backhand. Goddette with a chance and Ekkan just crashing in at the end. Finally able to beat Sheils who made a few saves even before this point blank. And Russ hit it square off the post. Celibbrini cross ice. Look out here. A chance for San Jose as Eklland’s got it back down low. Graph passes. One-time. Celibbrini scores. How about that turn of events? The post at one end and now a one-goal game at the other after Celibbrini finds the net. Look at this little pass right there to Rust. He’s under pressure. I mean, he puts a on net harder than it looks. going for that empty net and the Sharks come storming back on entry and kick it from one back to the point Cabbrini and then Clingberg. John Clingberg across Cabbrini shot save she’s rebound they score to Foley ties the game. Unbelievable and they get it in Clingberg. so good up top. He’s like a slinky up there just working the line and pulling guys around, getting it wide to this flank shot from Cabbrini. And it’s kicking around, bouncing around to Foley, who has a goal already. And he pounces on this loose puck rebound. The Penguins can’t get there in time. No back in front. And that’s going to do it for regulation. An incredible turn of events here. Injured on a hit from Parker Wtherspoon and got it done and fought to get an extra point here out of this game at least. Overtime underway. Kindle, Raquel, and Carlson to start. Here comes Raquel. Burst to speed right in. Shoot. Save. Ascarov. Ascarov. Sid was by himself down there. Just had no help in winning that puck back. Greenberg around Crosby back for Celibbrini to Greenberg scores. An unbelievable comeback by the San Jose Sharks capped off by an OT winner from John Clingberg. And they take it 65 here. Games the Penguins have been through of late. They’ve blown leads. Little give and go. Celibbrini and Clingberg after a nice move right there. Walking to the middle. Clingberg opens up and ends this thing. A massive comeback for San Jose.
Tyler Toffoli netted two goals and a pair of assists, Macklin Celebrini had three points and John Klingberg buried the game-winning goal in overtime to help the San Jose Sharks complete the comeback and beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 6-5.

Молодёжь показали характер стремление к победе пенсионеры не выдержали и морально и физически,
The comeback kids
Another case of the, "We got this one in the bag, no need to pay hard for the last period". PENS deserved to lose it.
It kind of looked like Crosby just gave up at the end.
Artur. Jeez
Вот это Кам бек с 1:5 круче только звезды
Hahahahahahaha. Let’s go Jarry.
Unreal
Erik Karlsson and unreal Shark comebacks. Name a more iconic duo.
Hey pens, no more sugarcoating it anymore, just GO AWAY forever. That organization is a joke. You are close to the pirates on irrelevancy scale. Old worthless hags.
Big🖕to Wotherspoon. How did y’all choke a 5-1 lead to a team with 2 of their 3 top line players out with injury 😂
To those Pens fans who think that this is a playoff team and needs to add – maybe it's time to reassess? They simply cannot hold 3rd period leads, even against bad teams.
Pittsburgh Chokers
Announcers sound like they lost their parents in a car wreck.
Pens fans actually thinks this team is good.
As a sharks fan, why is Erik karlsson not on the top line in overtime. He had a 100 point season in a losing team for a reason
Celebrini a savage
Ouch, Pens. Of course this doesn't make up for the Sharks losing to the Penguins in the 2016 NHL Stanley Cup Final, but incredible comeback on the road. Former Stars great, John Klingberg, sealing the deal in the end.
Haha, Klingberg near Edmonton sorted out, what"s going on 🙂
I guess any team that gives Pittsburgh a 3-4 goal lead knows they're going to win anyway. Sad.
Петушня обосралась 😂
Crosby out there playing zero D the last few seasons.
-37 in his last 145 games played. It’s time for the Pens to start sheltering him.
Пингвины достигли дна….проиграть так позорно это надо постараться!!!!The penguins have hit rock bottom…to lose so shamefully is something you have to try hard for!!!!
Well that was the choke of the season so far
That was always the book on Silovs, that he's not good both in traffic and from distance.
The Pens have 40 good mins in them every night
This is my official apology to John Klingburg
Silov 🤮🤮
It was 5-1 Pens with 12 and a half minutes left in the game. WTF! This Sharks team doesn't give up.
Wow…. unbelievable
Sharks lifer since I was born. We're so back.
The fact they lost this game absolutely mystifies me
This is not the Sharks we've grown accustomed to in their role as Pacific division doormats. Down 5-1 with a dozen minutes left in the game and they reel off 5 unanswered!?? Get the Fu$@ outta here! I am impressed! 🧡
🦈👑
Klingberg walked Crosby. . . lol. . . now Ive seen everything- Stars fan
Wow we may never see the sharks / leafs highlights on sportsnet but at least we have this
Time to trade Letang he's always on the backend of some stupid reckless turnover that helps us lose games.
5 minutes in, trying to gauge why I'm only halfway through?
The Penguins I remember from last year
3피어리드에 무슨일이있었던거죠 ..?😅
Skinner will fit right in
What a game!
How do you choke that. Just wow.
imma do this. I told you THREE YEARS ago when dubas came on board that the team would go nowhere. first you said it was hextall's fault. Then you said EK isn't all that bad. Now you think you are retooling.
Reality check.
You dont have an above average goalie. (skinner maybe? let's see in front of point 2)
Your defence is STILL horrible.
and the real kick in the nuts? Dickinson is going to be a stud back there for a decade + to come and EK hasn't got near the 100 points pens fans thought he would. (Dickinson was off the first SJ got (and traded up smartly) for EK)
Dubas' thinking is always short term and trying to be clever rather than building.
I gave dubas 3 years from his signing date, FSG are watching,,,,,,,,
Cindy should retire. Got his pants dropped there at the end 😂…..
