1. This replay is fucking ridiculous. Dude is fucking standing RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE NET and does absolutely NOTHING to account for the guy he is defending, who scores an easy ass goal.

   How the fuck has this dude not been benched??

2. One of the most embarrassing efforts I’ve seen. It’s not like he was even out of position. His only job in this position is to prevent a clean play at the front of the net, and he still failed to do so.

7. Honestly the defense as a whole has been pretty bad overall and it almost looks like they are more worried about being out of their zone position than picking up opponents, idk if it’s growing pains or what tho

13. Looks like he was anticipating the puck carrier to go around the net and then make that pass so he took away that lane.

    Honestly, the puck carrier looked like he lost control and wouldn’t be able to make that pass so it’s hard for me to get too upset with him here.

17. Again, I get why you hate Helleson but this one is primarily on Gudas. He gets cooked by an entire stick length, sees the skater loading up for a backhand pass and doesn’t block it, meanwhile Helleson is forced to split coverage in case the skater goes around the net, which is why he drifted to the other side.

19. I think drew has a chance of being a good defender but the ducks defense is shit as a whole right now and is carried by the goalies

20. This guy is going to cost us a playoff series imo. I think he has dirt on Verbeek and Q to be kept on the team instead of in San Diego.

24. I’ve said this before, Helleson can’t consistently do the expected things “required” to be in the NHL. 1) tying up sticks and 2) cutting the ice into 2 when you’re the last guy back. Last year people thought he was great because everyone else “sucked”. Now that everyone got better, you realize how bad he actually is.
