NHL Highlights | Red Wings vs. Blackhawks – December 13, 2025
Chapter 2 of the Centennial Celebration is underway. Glad to have you with us on Chicago Sports Network. Pocket Center. There’s Nazar banking it in. Gibson will cut it off and leave it at the side of the goal. Fed up the boards for Kane. Battle in the corner. Chopped back towards the boards. Picked up there by Kane. He’s leaned on by Grizzly. Pass in front. Deflected. They score to break it. able to chuck it in on a feed from the corner. 55 seconds in. The Wings take a one- nothing lead. 17th goal of the season for the former Hawk De Brinken. Movement. They cause a a little bit of disturbance for the defending Hawks right there. And then at one point there came you think he’s pinned up cuz Nazar came in on him and then Cop comes in with a little backhand redirection right there to De Brinken who was all over the ice. I mean, at one point he’s on the right side, then he’s at the middle of the ice and Nick Lardis on the ice for his first NHL shift right now. He had the rookie lap to begin this game. Number 76 as Son covers up. We take a look at the 71 goals in the OL last season. The most goals in that league since John 18 years ago. Hawks work it in. Here’s a shot by Moore. That goes might have gone off the shoulder of Gibson. What a good setup there by Lardes. Right off the hop. Bouncing puck at the line. Chipped across out at center ice by Grizzlick. Dumped right back in by Legion off. Loose just inside the zone. Took a weird hop at the blue line. Nice play by Moore to work it across. Grizzlick fakes. He’ll bank it in deep. Chopped back towards the corner. Fed to Grizzlick in the blue line. Fires it across. Conor Murphy looking. Weak shot deflected. Gibson able to hug the post to make the save. Rebound to Green. He’ll play it back towards the corner. Burkovsky trying to get there. Oh, that’s a heck of a shift there for that young line. Four. Green back to center ice and Lardis on the right side as a left hand shot. They head off. Murphy settles it down. Bounce stolen to Brink. Works it in. Flips it across. They score and that’s 598 for Kane who makes it two nothing Detroit. Just like that after a couple of good shifts and the rookie Lardis making a good play to Moore wingers that they have a little backhand flip. It looked like nothing was going on right here and and Murphy just can’t handle the puck off his glove. Right back at it and boy, Cider Bloom went over to the left side and not a lot of heat on this one here, but a typical Kane play. He’s always been good on the backhander. He doesn’t hoist it up all the way. He goes halfway just over the pad and under the glove right here. And he’s got two more. Yep. Goals. Carried back out through center ice. De Brinka dropped off to Kane. played across the blue line. That shot stopped. Rebound picked up. Murphy able to feed it ahead. Burikovsky turns back into his own zone. He’ll drop it back. Kaiser feeds it over. Pass ahead. Burikovski to center. He’ll work it in on the wing to Bertusi. Bertusi shoots and that’s turned side by Gibson. Bounced back in front. The sense in the hockey making a play. That’s everything. Here he is again with a shot. Stopped by Sonnoon. 1225 of those points came with the Hawks able to poke the puck towards McKay off the boards tipped over. Good play Dickinson and out comes Louis Kreb in with Tabiner who takes control back towards Kreb slides right through to Gibson. Grabs the puck and hangs on including Patrick him but then when you give up a goal 55 seconds in it is like a whoa a punch to the gut. Now you got to find it back real fast. Here’s Green with a shot off the shoulder gets a good look for Ryan Green. Hawks have had a couple chances since it went two nothing. unable to solve Gibson so far. On the wing, return pass out of his reach. He’s pressured by Murphy. Marco Casper plays it back to Cider looking for a lane. Tries a long shot. Sneaks through. Poked away by Soldlum. Picked up now by Doc with a backhand pass. Feeds it across. Here’s Dominic Conanado with a shot up into the bread basket of John Gibson who hangs on. And that prior shift too, Cider didn’t like the uh the hit that took place and he picked up now by Kane over the line with the breaking. Kane turns, walks it across, tries a shot, stopped by Sold. McKev written into the corner. Sherro gets to it. He’ll cut in behind and bank it to the other side. Picked off by Murphy with a shot in front. A turn to a pass and a chance for MV. Shut down by Gibson. Wings go to work with a man advantage. Kane drops it off Raymond. Morit cider back to Raymond. over. Pass down low. Ra put it in front. Here’s Kane with a shot. Never got it through. That one dead. Son of a look behind. Pucks in the corner. Tried to feather it through and Nick Lardis couldn’t catch up to it. Casper back the other way. Looks down the left side with a shot. Pad save. Ser puck goes over the glass. Kaiser goes down to one knee. Stays out there. Okay. Back on his feet. Pressure. Hawks get it. Mave’s ahead of everybody. Here comes Mave. Short handed. Finn on it. What the shoot and misfired. slides to Gibson. Calmly steers that to the corner. Larkin back the other way. Banked in. Carbier will pick it up and fire it all the way down. Oh, you’re right about the Red Wings giving up four short-handed goals. And there they were. And a good pass by Dickinson after he looked like he might not have had control to get it to MV. And unfortunately, Mave just fans on that. Nate Danielson made his NHL debut against the Hawks earlier this season. Back to the line. Gets it back. pressured able to sweep it down the boards. Top plated in front. Fired wide in the back door by Van Remdsteike. Puck picked up on the near side for getting the call to come on back. It’s been a magical season already celebrating an amazing 100 years of Chicago hockey. So the wide lines brought to you by back across to Patrick Kane. That pass off a sticks on side. Evansson again with a play across. Here’s Kane. Stopped by Solomon. Came out the challenge with a big Alex Blic skates out. Big defenseman down the wing. Puck in deep. Perkovski’s there. He’ll turn. Makes a play back to Blastic. Shoots and the loose block. Where is it? Stay out off a stick. Somehow unable to tuck it in. Kane flips it back. Sandy Pelica takes a look. Kane into the slot. That shot deflected and it flutters into the glove of Sabloom who hangs out. Leads the way. Slows it down. Poke check and the wings turn back the other way. It’s Coner carrying in on Lebanon. Tries a shot blocker saved by Sabloom. Hey, not a lot of stops and starts that neutral zone there. Stop and pound somebody and get things going. Here comes Doc with an auto ma. Doc to the circle with a shot. Stopped by Gibson. Stopped the rebound too. Stick lifted by McKaya. He winds up with a puck with some help. Now that’s good backing there. Pass hit escape though. Edmonson gets the puck. Works in deep with a shot up high on Sonno. made the save. Time with the Hawks. Wings with the puck just inside the line. That shot in front. Turned to a pass. They score on the rebound. It’s EMTT Finny able to fire it in. And the rookie picks up his seventh goal of the season. Playing it back to the point. They’re doing a good job of getting it from the goal line to the point. And then here’s where the confusion starts. the defenseman moving around, moving around, then just laying pucks towards the net. And you can see this one here just finds its way through. It wasn’t a hard shot. It wasn’t meant to be a shot to score a goal. It was meant to be a shot to cause chaos in front of the net. And the rebound ends up right on the tape of Finny. Made the team out. Bump by James Van Remsteike, but he winds up with the puck and he’ll skate it out. Scott Nazar blazing down the far wing. There’s the pass. Nazar with a weak shot. Pad save by Gibson. Rebound flipped to the line. Not out. Hawks recover. Burkovski with a shot and that’s tipped just wide. Comes all the way around. Grizzlies there. Steered out. Here’s Dickinson with McKaya. Two on two. A shot glove. Save. Gibson and he hangs on. Detroit 16. Got to get some pucks on that now. Down by three late stage of second period. The Wings with a shot. It trickles on goal and off the pad of Solder Bloom. And Gabe Gibson a little trouble with the rebound. Pass in front. Nice stop on the redirection by Lucas Raymond. Happy to come back and uh I love I’m loving every second of it and I appreciate all that everyone has been doing for us. Boy, young Danny WZ is doing pretty good, isn’t he? Yeah, he’s a good boy. I wish him all the best. Yeah. You see Patrick H back on the ice. Left late stages of second period. Not sure why, but good to go here in the third. He’s got a goal tonight for the wings and the Hawks down. Oh, what a save. And a good stop by Gibson. Some pretty good speed there, Dale. You know, it looked like you in an oldtimer’s game, Spain. Not in the net. Out front. Out front. Out front. I was going to say that that glove went by the wayside many years ago. We’re happy with the move. I think it’s a good move for both teams. Yeah. Brophy with a shot. Rebound just wide by Nazar. The And now Nazar back the other way. Four minutes to go. Carries in. Terrain. Bounced away from Lardis. De Brink wants him will shoot for the empty net and score as Dbrink gets his second of the game. And with 346 left in the third, it’s four nothing Red Wings. And then the next time around, there’s there’s no way that you’re going to wait that long. Kane can’t get in front of his man. Terraine and Connor reached back out to him as well and you know it’s just one of those unfortunate plays and at the end of the day he actually won the face off and got it to Bertuzi who had a shot but really need to
Alex DeBrincat tallied two goals and an assist while Patrick Kane added two points of his own as the Detroit Red Wings earned a 4-0 win over the Chicago Blackhawks. John Gibson stopped all 26 shots for his second shutout in his last three games.

Showtime dominates.
You can tell not having Bedard in the lineup really puts a damper on the Hawks. Always fun to see Debrincat and Kane scoring in Chicago though, but they are doing it wrong >.<
Love seeing the contributions from all the players on the Wings. Great coach – knows how to get each man to deliver to his potential. When everyone was piling onto Gibson, McClellan consistently had his back; now look – the guy is wired! Copp is really doing great, too – in there setting the stage for Kane and the Cat! Awesome road trip, guys! LGRW!!!
Both of these franchises will turn 100, next year.
Без Бедарда Чикаго мёртв!Даже на гол не сподобились!Михеев вообще мешок стал,шайбу вести не может!
Blackhawks 🤝 getting scored on in the first minute
Soderblom is garbage.
