The Kansas City Royals traded for switch-hitter Isaac Collins, who had a 118 OPS+ with nine homers and 16 steals in his breakout 2025 season, plus right-handed reliever Nick Mears with his sharp 3.49 ERA over 56 innings. They sent lefty Angel Zerpa back to Milwaukee. Zerpa posted a 4.18 ERA in 2025, but has good velocity and potential.
