Flames vs. Kings | NHL Highlights | December 13, 2025
And our puck drop is brought to you by Irvine
Auto Center. It is Biffield against Frost and the Flames control it. And then Weaguer can’t get
a shot through. Flames on the outside. And now Hubo sends it back. Weaguer a shot and fought
off by Keer. And then Dowy again who led the Kings a nice time on Wednesday over 23 minutes.
Here’s a Anderson rather at the line. Long shot by Kevin Ball. Keer sixth best in goals against
ninth best in safe percent for centers. That shot fought off by Keer and the Kings try to clear it.
Now Coleman in front kept off the stick of Keer. Sharon Gobi was there. Now Weager gets it. Shoots
it and that’s blocked in front. Mikey Anderson trying to scramble and get the puck. Here’s Zary
and he spins late on this Calgary power play. What a stick there by Edmonson to break it up.
Great read by the veteran Joel Edmonson. Yeah, he stayed at home first of all. Read the pressure
then supported and now Kemp flies in. One on three, shoots it side and a save by Wolf. Flames
had one shot on their power play and Dumlan in a foot race here and the Flames get it. Fairbye
feeds it back. Long shot by Ball and that is held by Keer and that was close and now the Flames
come back and Cadri. Threeon two for Farabby. Cadri gets it. Shoots it and a save by Keer. Now
the Flames entered cleanly. Sharon Goic the former Devil pass in front wide open. Keer great save on
Kousnets off. Guess what happens now? Watch the goalender Darcy Kemper. He’s going to take one
step to square up, push for the left, and then push for the right. And with that last push with
the right, he went closer to the shooter. We’ll get a close look at it here. This is edge work by
a goalender. One push, second push. And just that little just that little movement. Fogle back.
Gouty. A shot. And that was blocked in front. Fogle again. Right on. Stopped by Wol. That a shot
by Fogle and kept out by the youngster Wolf. And then Huberedo back in handled by Edmonson. Floats
it out. Kempe now ahead for Leferier with Kopitar. And Lefer pulls up. One-time they score. Kemp
for the rocket. One- nothing Kings. What a shot. As pretty as the play was, it was a little
bit of a broken play initially to find the open man coming at you. Looks dangerous here.
Maybe a twoon-one. Well, here it’s broken up, slowed down. Then all of a sudden, remember we
just saw the Kings kind of over back check. Get focused on the puck. The Flames do exactly the
same thing. And John, the shot is not only hard, it is accurate. Wolf coming across here. If this
is low, he gets a piece. But it’s not low. It’s right to the top corner. Looks like we’re going to
have some type of a challenge here. And now it’s Sharon Govich spinning and a pass back. Long
shot to the line by Joel Hanley off the stick of Keer and out of play. All the way around and
snared now by Farby to the middle. Ubero right in front. Great save by Keer and stopped ball on the
rebound. Two great saves by the Saskatoon native Keer and got his wires crossed with Hubo. Kings
get it. Poked along by Moore now for Turkot with some speed up the middle to more. Quick shot right
on and a save there by Wolf. And then a hit on Dumalan. Flames get it. Weaguer shoots it right on
and off the pad of Keer. Malot has his man Kettov tied up. And now Zeri below the goal line. He’s
walled by Helenius. His dad, by the way, a former Calgary draft choice. That was back in 92. Spent
two years as a Flame. Here’s Weaguer getting it. Shooting it. Dipped in front by Coleman. Another
shot. That’s loose there. And finally the whistle. And now Hubo spinning on Clark right in front.
Anderson gets it right in Keer. What a save on Raspus Anderson. Another great a chance for
Calgary. And this is kept in by Matt Coronado. Gets it back again. Now ball comes in right in
front. And a player was there. Frost. He may have actually kept it out. He had a wide open now. No.
Biffuel. Back in to Pella. What a save. Call the cops. Dustin Wolf. A brilliant save there. Now you
go the other way. Watch the glove hand of Dustin Wolf here. He almost goes out and gets redwell
by Biffy Field. Turning shooting it and fought off by Wolf. And then Dumalent to Trevor Moore.
Shot was probably going wide. Caught by Wolf and back for Anderson. He comes in looking for Arma
in front and that was broken up. Another shot right on by Fiawa. And a save by Wolf and that was
blocked by Moore. Flames get it again. Zary back for Weaguer. Shot tipped. Saved by Keer. Rebound
is loose there. And Backlin can’t lift it in. Kings cleared up the middle. Kept in by Weaguer.
Shoots it. Tipped just wide by Coleman. And a good chance there for Calgary. And we again settles
it. Now Zer to the middle. Sharon Gobic waits and shoots it. And a save by Keer with his arm.
Pressure by the Flames on the power play. Sharon Govich right in. Saved by Keer off the back of his
arm and it stayed out. Now we a blast and Keer is there again. He’s been like a brick wall tonight
and the Kings have killed it off and they clear it down the ice and a long pass ahead off Cadri Skate
and recovered by Biffield. Gives it away center. Keer there again on Farabby. Point out the
urgency of what’s going on because the Flames are dominating this game. And now Hubo moves
one to the middle and a shot off the blocker by Bruce Dav in the first round. Plays with London
in the Ontario League. Now the Flames. Clapka gets it back in for Longberg. Right to the net
for Longberg. And a save by Keer. And Darcy was right there. Watch the goalender stick. It goes
down flat and then he goes out at Lombberg. Watch the Yeah, that’s just perfect technique by Garcy
there. It’s It’s difficult to cover everything down low and he certainly did down low again.
Nothing. It’s just one of those things where he’s going to be out there for possession and
recovery, but he’s going to be around the net. King’s first power play tonight. Great keep in
by Doubt even now stolen by Coleman. Short-handed breakaway for Blake Coleman. Here he comes and
he scores. and Coleman has tied the game at one. So the turnover hurts the Kings in the first. The
big turnover hurts him here where everyone shoots nowadays. Over the pad and Coleman had his head
up. He’s picking his spot. He’s getting ready. You see just underneath the arm here. Over the pad,
under the glove. But it was back that the turnover took place at the offensive attack blue line with
Kevin Fiala not being sure enough with that pass and the Kings missed the goal. Yeah, Wolf was
concerned with the traffic. Here’s a break. Fia comes in. Twoon one right in front. Wol makes the
save on Perry who didn’t get all he wanted on the shot. Was going to shoot, didn’t shoot. Darcy Keer
gets the puck up. Spotting the change situation. And you see right there just kind of a
scoop play at the end by Cory Perry. Yeah, there off the end of a stick. So Coronado drops
it off. Frost carries the mail in and now back for Anderson right in front. Coronado wide open and
a save either by Cece or Keer. I don’t know who. Now K Clapka again. Flames tag up. Clapka. Good
move coming in and a shot off the goal post. I don’t believe it. Beecher. Brilliant. It also
has had two goalpost holiday roster freeze will take effect starting on December 20th. So
teams have about a week to make trades. The Kings right in and Keep in there with Lefer
scuffle. So the faceoff will stay inside. You see the position there and and now off Klka and moved ahead by Weaguer to the
middle. Wombberg a glove save by Keer. It wasn’t outnumbered originally but then a bounce of a
puck all the way across. Darcy got a chance to see that one and set up. So that was you can see K on
the other side maybe looking for the tap in back door but and Fogle gets it from Dowy. And Mikey
Anderson tosses it in. Trevor Moore gets there and a great save by Wolf. And maybe it’s starting
a little bit here. You can see the goalpender just hesitated there. Can’t play it behind the
the goal line. You can in the the trapezoid, but I think Dustin just I got in between there.
You can see who’s can’t control it. Zer with it. Here’s Weaguer with 10 to go. Beer drops it.
Coleman shoots it and a save again forward. Cadrias put him to the outside. Did as much as
possible. Adrian wanted a better, higher quality chance. And now Kempe again gets it from Kopitar.
Back in front. Kopitar kicks it in. Will it count? We’ll see. It will be reviewed. No question. Kick
with a skate off the ice. Kopi angles his skate there. You are the most distinct kicking motion
would be draw your skate back and his motion is going forward. Now, does it go from a back to
front position? That’ll be the entire thing cuz you can change the angle of your skate. I I
think this is very close. I really do. Here’s the call. After video review, the call on the ice is
overturned. We have a kicking motion. No goal. No goal. And to me, this is where it was, John at the
end, the follow through. Working on Morgan Frost. Thought about shooting and then run off the puck
by Frost. And the Kings are trapped. A threeon one. Hubo with it to the net and they score. And
the Flames win it on a twoon-one goal by Frost.

What a game, great watch, even more special because of the Calgary dads in attendance. Classic ending for sure!
WAY to go, Flames!!!! Sweet victory.
Would have been nice to see that final goal without three pop ups blocking up half the screen.
Kings are fraudulent
with a win like that flames taking cup letsss gooo
The Flames could have had them so many times in regulation they definitely deserved to win that.
Announcers should be ashamed of themselves thinking that's not a distinct kicking motion
