The haters are having an absolute field day lol

  1. The hate is wild. Spurs played well, but I think Thunder had an off game and blew a few really good chances. Hoping some of the Wemby comments really lights a fire under the team for the next game.

  2. If this is how people react to them losing a regular season game that actually bodes pretty well y’all.

  3. Lol we can’t complain “Nobody is talking about us!” to “Why is everyone being mean!” now that we’re winning. We lost, it sucks, but a lot of season left to be played and we will lose more games. Buckle up buckaroos.

  4. Yeah, it just shows how desperate they (overall, but especially people with T’Wolves and Nuggets flairs) were for our guys to lose. When you’re winning like our guys have been, everything they do is cheating/fraudulent to r/nba, and everything done to them is “real hoops.”

Is it any surprise that r/nba is rallying around Wemby as their new god after his “ethical hoops” comment post-game? He’s making them feel vindicated.

  5. Hahah. We will be just fine. We lost a game to a good team both team played like crap. We played like crap MORE. It’s not the end of the world, in fact it’s like SGA said. This experience will be a tool we use to sharpen our game

  6. They are saying this now because they don’t know when they will be able to again.  Wemby talking like he won the NBA finals hopefully motivates this team to lock in on Christmas and take it to the Spurs

  7. I’m ok with it. I told a friend several times in the last week that the recent glazing made me uncomfortable and I preferred the underdog status with a chip on their shoulder.

Sucks to lose, but this one hurt and it was on a big stage so odds are good it will light a fire.

  8. I would avoid that troll page if I were you. Haters will do anything when their teams can’t beat yours on the court.

  9. This should be a lesson to all the “81-1 is possible!” people.  Sometimes your bad game lands on another team’s good game and that’s all there is to it.  SGA was uncharacteristically sloppy with the ball, some of that is credit to SAS, they play good hard defense.  But he’ll be better than that next time.  Three point shooting has always eluded us in big moments and screwed us, last night was no exception.

Also wemby is just that incredible and it’s fine to admit that.  God willing he stays healthy, and he’s not going anywhere.  This is going to be must see TV for years to come and I’m here for it, losing now gives us film to review, gives us a chip on our shoulder, iron sharpens iron and we were sorely lacking iron so far this season.  We’re going to see them again a lot, it’s going to be awesome.

  10. Bro I’m not even an OKC fan just a wiz fan but getting downvoted into oblivion in the NBA memes sub for saying Shai’s foul baiting blown out of proportion and that he only had 4 FT’s so tf are dues complaining about still 😂

  11. People’s hated on OK since we got a team. I’m not too worried about being 24-2 really. We cannot win all 82 games. This was just a scheduled loss. The hate will come either way

  12. Tbh I felt this way after the Bucks game in the cup and the huge lead they blew to the Wolves last year. Good for them to take a loss and evaluate where things went wrong. 24-2 and defending champs. 5 years ago it’d be a dream for that to be the case. TTFU

  13. I’ve never seen anything like this in my 30+ years of watching sports. We’ve won a singular championship off the back of the greatest rebuild in history, and we’re getting shit on like we’ve been dominating for 10 straight years. Warriors and Chiefs hate is genuinely child’s play.

r/NBA one of the top posts is literally just Caruso’s missed layup with 1 second left. It’s all just chatter, but like you can’t even talk about basketball rationally with people because they’re so brain broken
