    Especially considering we have so many needs and are rebuilding

  8. The only thing they should have did with Barkley is given him the trade he wanted; they had no intention of signing him, he wanted out, could have gotten some draft capital or players for him.

  15. Can not believe this sub is still going on about Barkley. We never had the personnel around him to let him play to his full potential. Not when we drafted him, not during the years he was healthy, and not during his last year. What he’s done in Philly *never* could’ve happened in New York. Let. It. Go.

    This use to be a organization that gave af about its identity. Hard Nose defense and running the ball. But forgot for both you need a good line on both sides. 

  17. I think if this year has proven anything, it’s that letting go of Saquon was the right move. He looks washed this year. He’s cracked 100 yards twice. Once against us(obviously – who doesn’t), and once last week against the Chargers, which only happened because he got a pitch on a fake tush push (and a blatant hold) to get half his yards.

    He has 862 yards and is averaging 4.0 YPC. Nick Chubb, Isiah Pacheco, amd Tony Pollard all have better YPC.

  20. Eh, as an eagles fan. You guys def need to give Skattebo Barkley’s old contracts. If there ever was one man I was terrified of, it’d be him. Just hope the coaching can prevent him from cteing himself.

  21. How is dumb shit like this upvoted? Saquon has done what this season exactly? Also Saquon didn’t want to sign here, when will you all figure this out? Schoen offered him the exact same deal as the Eagles during the bye, he turned it down. He offered him that same deal again in the off-season, he turned it down, then we tagged him. He then refused that same offer yet again, so Schoen told him to shop his own trade with his agent and bring him back any offers they got from other teams. Schoen accepted an offer, Mara vetoed it. So during last off-season (the hard knocks one) he said “Go test the market, if you find a better offer bring it back and we’ll see if we can match it”. He didn’t find a better deal, he found the exact same deal, never came back to the Giants and signed with the Eagles.

    This is my problem with the “FIRE SCHOEN” people. You’re all in this weird alternative dimensional delusion where you blame Joe Schoen for every move that we’ve basically confirmed was Mara forcing his hand. While simultaneously admitting he’s drafted well and made some solid acquisitions in FA and trades.

    If all of Schoen’s horrible moves are actually John Mara, then firing Joe Schoen won’t solve a fucking thing.

  26. I flipped on the game and Slayton dropped a other pass. The color commentator said Slayton is one of the best receivers the Giants have. Are announcers tested for crack?

  31. I love this team. I really do. I’ve been a fan since the 90s. But I’m telling you all, stop watching on Sundays. It’s just not worth the heartache this season. I think we’ve got our QB of the future and with a new coach, new GM next season plus a top 5 pick, we will be in great shape. With everyone healthy- Nabers back, Skatt back, and hopefully a new receiver, the offense will look much better. With a D coordinator worth their salt and a healthy Dex, hopefully our $250 million or whatever defense won’t look like complete trash.

    Yeah I’m tired of “next season will be better” too but what did we all think this season was going to be starting Russ in week 1-3? We get Jaxon with a full toolbox and hopefully not a top 5 schedule in difficulty. Just let it go, stop wasting your Sundays watching this fucking clown show, and keep your fingers crossed for 2026

    Take issue with the Slayton contract if you want but Barkley and Slayton aren’t correlated.

    giving slayton $12M a year victor cruz money was silly, but letting go of barkley was not
