He learned a lot from watching Mills work from the sidelines about protecting the football. This might not be the flashiest CJ, but this is the CJ we need him to be to go all the way this year with our historic defense.

To me this was his best game all season honestly. Stood tough, delivered on time, and threw the ball away when necessary. He played what I felt like was nearly a flawless game.
It’s Arizona and they’re up most of the game. So not really.

The biggest improvement I have seen is his mentality. Even after big wins he now seems more chill. I loved seeing CJ high but when he was low it really got to him. This more even keel approach may be the change that this league is not prepared for.
I know our oline is improving but I still hope we bring in some new faces.
