These games really show how bad Nurse is at coaching offense, when we got the ball back there from VJs awesome OReb nobody knew what to do or where to be and the possession ended up in a long ass 3 prayer

These are the kinds of games I’d rather lose by 25 than lose like that.
We have a coaching issue.
Refs be damned but Nick Nurse is a con man
Justin Edwards is dead weight at this point huh 😒
So much promise last season and potential
VJ is most clutch player we’ve got and he’s 20
Did VJ show off a much better handle today or am I just convincing myself of that?
At least I’ll take the positive over the last two games, both Embiid and PG are still capable of popping off for 30. Neither are gonna average 30 ever again but that’s why we have Maxey.
These refs called the game like they had parlays to hit🤣
Hawks are our father. Hate to say it. Fuck Trae young
…how about Kevin patullo and Nick have lunch…
0/10 from McCain and Edwards is nasty
Complete crap there at the end, clear backcourt violation and then A. the refs miss it, B. Nurse couldn’t challenge it. I didn’t like the second to last possesion for the Sixers, do we not have a P&R option for Embiid or at least a look that’s not a three?
Ultimately just gotta say fuck that shit. FUCK that shit, though.
We’re gonna be the sixth seed again tomorrow, as one of Miami or Toronto will lose to the other and fall below us.
Maxey should hopefully be over his flu/COVID by Thursday, and we’re catching New York on the back half of a road-home B2B that’s also part of a 3-in-4. Not optimistic but maybe we’ll have Oubre. Get a win over Satan and we can afford to be a little less mad at this one.
These games are so tough cause it feels like the players overall did a pretty great job but still came up short. Really wanted to win that one for some momentum
Didn’t catch most of the guy, why does VJ just turn it on for some quarters then not really get involved in others?
Q1 – 4 mins 3 pts 1/2 fgs
Q2 – 12 mins 4 pts 2/8 fgs
Q3 – 12 mins 17 pts 5/7 fgs
Q4 – 10 mins 2 pts 1/4 fgs
Seems like a good idea to give VJ more opportunity in the 4th instead of grimes after that 3rd Q?
So McCain kinda sucks now? Send him down to G league please
So we smoke the pacers who have citizens playing ball and lose to the hawks wit no trey young for the second time
Tough loss. Lost to Atlanta for the sixth time in a row because of a clear backcourt violation. Hurts even more because PG had a great game.
Good news is the Magic are facing the Nuggets and the Raptors and Heat play each other, so hopefully we can sneak a few seeds up if they lose.
Unfortunate, but very encouraging stuff from PG and Embiid. PG still has it and Embiid still moving this well in his second game in 3 days. Was active on the glass and went for multiple block attempts, get these 5 days off and regroup. Tyrese should be back and hope that there are no set backs with Jo.
Time to make trades tomorrow 😃
VJ is a clutch rebounder. I don’t even know how he was able to get that. No one in this team can close out a game like VJ and Maxey.
Game 75/82. “Encouraging stuff from PG and Embiid! See you next season”
The NBA betting is clearly compromised. VJ hacked half the game, forces the back court, this is pissing me off watching these games.
Also Justin Edward sucks
how did they miss that backcourt call in the last 2.5 seconds?
The NBA bizarrely started interpreting the backcourt rule to allow for subjective “momentum”. So inbound plays like that are kind of just up to the refs discretion instead of a clear backcourt violation like it should be. Pistons got screwed last year in the playoffs against the Knicks on a very similar play.
When officials impact the outcome of the game, the outcome of the game should be vacated. If that happened then maybe there would be some accountability.
Gosh I wish we could have VJ and Kon together. I feel like would be best combo. 2 high IQ actual winning players with contrasting styles.
