If you uh hate Brian Cashman and you hate Aaron Boon, you’re going to hate what’s coming next. Uh nothing much is changing. They changed some of the uh maybe they’re changing the curtains. Uh Mike Harky, the bullpen coach, Pat Rosler, an assistant hitting coach, Travis Chapman, first base coach, that’s who’s gone. Uh but the same people who are making decisions in the front office, the same person who’s making the decision as the manager, they’re coming back. I don’t think their philosophy is going to change all that much. So, uh, they’re putting a band back together, and I will call that band until something changes. The red zone Yankees, they’re really get good at getting close to the goal line. Uh, I asked both guys today if they had thoughts on what would get them those last yards and over the goal line, uh, into the, uh, World Series end zone. Sorry for the terrible analogy. Uh, to the Canyon of Heroes. Nobody offered anything firm except for you take more shots at this. You keep putting good teams together and you hope that one year everything lines up and goes as you hope.

  7. They made it to the world series 2 years ago, they made it to the 2nd round this year. F u people. Theyre doing fine. Hardest thing to do is win a F WORLD SERIES.

  12. So the Cashman doesnt know how to punch thru the goal line? Exactly why are the nyy paying him $5mm a year? Here's some advice for that pea brain. Reclaim the blue prints Stick and Watson left you to continue the Dynasty they built which Cashman loves to take credit for.
    1. Build a strong up the middle defense. Catcher, S.S. 2nd baseman and centerfielder.
    2. Build a rotation that are ground ball pitchers and not fly ball pitchers.
    3. Draft better players so you dont have to sign free agents while you continue move the machine forward!
    4. Trade for players if your drafts dont work out.
    Its not rocket science. Just takes the right g.m to implement it.

  13. I can actually get behind this. Several guys- Grisham, Fried, Weaver, even Bellinger and Stanton- didn't perform well this postseason, and that's why we lost. There wasn't necessarily a missing piece, although our situational hitting needs to improve and we need to bunt.
