JG knocked down some huge 3s down the stretch. Shaedon haters gonna be silent at least for a few nights.
Obviously I love having RW around but it slightly concerns me for the long-term how dependent we are on his mobility at the center position in matchups that are no good for Clingan.
Even though i feel pretty good about Yang turning into a solid NBA player some day, there’s no way he ends up giving us what RW is doing on defense – which you really need off the bench if you’re starting a one dimensional guy like DC
This team is scary, I don’t care about the record.
Jerami 35 pts
Shae 35 pts
Deni 26 pts
Still missing from this picture:
Jrue Holiday (15-20 points on a given night)
Scoot (12-16 pretty regularly with any mins)
Dame (15-18 seems almost like a good target)
Not far away.
Surround with any additional high level scorers (see: Trey Murphy) and we are a team no one wants to see in the playoffs.
With all of the heavy pessimism due to a few tough losses, I’m really happy to see things in perspective this AM.
I might be looking at the high end of this team but we’ve got a lot of room for hope and improvement in the next 12-16 months.
It’s pretty crazy that Deni puts up 26/8/7 in a close win and everyone is like “oh ok. Wish he shot better though”
Really speaks to how good he’s gotten lately in the blink of an eye.
Actually having real centers playing is so nice, the zero PG, zero C game a few days ago was legit torture to watch.
Shae had 11 potential assists yesterday which was the highest on the team
No game til Thursday, I want more hoops 🫠
It’s amazing what shooting over 50% from 3 does. GSW did too, of course, but we got a few more FTs and rebounds than they did, and that tipped us over.
