How disappointing was the effort tonight? Uh very disappointing especially as a team as a unit. Um you know that that’s kind of been our kill this year is consecutively putting in um consistent effort um which is unacceptable especially at this level for us playing a game that we you know it’s a kids game you love and a lot of people died for it. So um yeah disappointing for sure. Uh, I think it’s like 19 to 18 midway through the first quarter. What did you maybe see from slipping away as that first quarter went on? Uh, we just didn’t play hard. We didn’t play hard. You know, we um, you know, we allowed them to do whatever they wanted on offense, turned the ball over a lot. Um, you know, probably took a a couple shots that we that we probably wanted to play more team basketball with. uh you know and that’s just uh where where we’re at. You know, we have to mature on on the ball, off the ball, uh mature with our energy on a night and night basis. And you know, that’s that’s basically what it is right now. You know, I think 3 and N on the road now. Um obviously you’re under 500, but for the road record to be three and what are you maybe seeing and you guys are struggling with on the road specifically? Starting out games. It’s um I think that’s a recurring theme throughout the year starting out games sitting the tempo you know that’s that’s a huge thing you know when you come out you know it’s like Mike like Tyson you know Mike Tyson says you know if you come out you know everybody has a game plan till you get punched in the mouth so a lot of times we’re the ones getting punched in the mouth and then we’re the shell shock and then we come out and then we fight you know we fight in round seven round eight round nine but it’s too late you know and I think that We need to start setting that tone. You know, we have sometimes some games we have, but um not um consistent enough to be a competitive team. You know, when you watch watch the NC tournament games, right? OKC San Antonio, like was personal. Everything was personal. It was playoff game. Obviously, it’s NC tournament, but you know, they’re in December just like us, right? And um yeah, we got to get our act together. Consistency to there is talent in this extreme extreme talent. Extreme talent, but uh you know talent that doesn’t it’s not on the string together. It’s just talent, right? It’s not a team. So I think that for us, uh we got a nice another reset, right? We got we don’t play another three, four games. And um you know we have to mature up to them mature up. Um does this feel like the low point of the season? Say again. Does it feel like the low point of the season? Like a 45? No question. Oh absolutely. There 45 points to a team that’s trying to lose 40, you know, they got four wins, five wins, whatever it is now. No disrespect at all cuz you know that’s the beauty of this league, right? Uh there’s so much talent and you know if you if you’re not ready, you can get your butt whooped by any team, right? And uh we are proof of that tonight.
