Kolyachonok is an LHD and Berggren is .4PPG in 15 games @ 1.8M AAV.

  1. I’d put a claim in on Berggren, hasn’t been good obviously but we don’t have many guys with skill like him

  2. Honestly I’m never in on guys that other teams once thought highly of and are now waiving, but at this point I’d put a claim in for berggren and see what he’s got tbh.

  3. They should put a claim in for Kolyachonok. Young on league min with size. Shown decent upside. His ceiling imo is higher than Benoit/Thrun/Myers/Mermis, and he can’t be worse than those guys.

  4. Yea I can’t see any of these guys being a fit. Maybe Kolyachonok for some more injury assurance as we’re getting pretty thin on D. Don’t really see him being an upgrade on guys like Benning and Thrun. I’ve seen enough of Myers

  5. How old is Berggren and I want him. Koly is pretty good and should be claimed. If these two go unclaimed I’d be surprised.

  6. “He saw just 12:37 of ice time per game but posted the best possession numbers of any Star this season at 5-on-5, controlling 51.7% of shot attempts and 54.1% of scoring chances.”

Yeah, the Leafs could use Kolyachonok.

  7. Stars fan here, Kolyachonok is better than one might think and could definitely be a stecher type claim for the leafs

  8. Year three of the Teliving experiment and we are begging for him to grab every scrap player off the waiver wire because they are maybe better than the guys we actually have on the roster
