Mikko is looking towards the point trying to get a tip, the LA player makes contact with him and Kuemper skates out cause Rantanen to skate into him, y’all are legitimately stupid if you think this is on purpose.

This is one of those situations where Kuemper’s teammate injured Kuemper through Rantanen. Just fully pushed him into his goalie.
Mikko was pushed into Kuemper from behind, also wasn’t in the crease until the push. This looks more like Dumoulin ran a guy into his own goalie
I know this sub is circle jerk hating on Rantanen recently here but like he literally didnt do anything here…

Looks to me like 1) Rantanen is looking to the blue line for a tip while 2) Kuemper is moving out to make a save and doesnt see Rantanen while possibly 3) the defender pushes Rantanen toward Kuemper

Rantanen has been reckless this season but this is just 2 guys playing their positions & not aware that the other os quickly entering their space
