1. Elliott Shorre-Parks (Eagles fans will know who I’m talking about) made a great point: you can’t say “oh it’s just the Raiders” and then not acknowledge that the Eagles have had the most difficult schedule in the NFL this year. Either the schedule means something or nothing. Sure they beat a bad team but they’ve lost to good teams (Denver, Chicago, Los Angeles Chargers….Dallas kinda but that’s a rivalry game and it was on the road so still tough game). As a fan, I need to see back to back great games before I’m truly excited again. But if you would’ve told me at the beginning of the year the Birds win 11-12 games with that schedule and win the division, I would’ve been happy. Let’s see how they do Saturday.

7. As an eagles fan they could've won 100-0 vs the raiders and I would still expect them to score 9 points in there first playoff game. Raiders have lost 8 straight abd are a mid major college team roster wise

8. Rich, you don't even buy your own words here. Where were the Eagles on your Power Rankings? Unranked, where they belong, because we aren't very good. The only difference between 2025 and 23 is now we'll be 1 and done, hosting a playoff game, which is sad when the goal is defend the title. A win against the bottom feeder Raiders is lipstick on a pig. Go birds!

15. Jalen gets s much hate its crazy. Hes 3rd in total TDs this year behind only Stafford and Allen (who has more tush push TDs this season btw) and 8th in passer rating

    Hes the only thing holding this offense together tbh with the underwhelming oline and run game. 
    Yesterday felt like the first complete game for the Eagles from the coaching staff(onlty 3 penalties) to the play calling to the defense.

    Obviously its only the Raisers so theyll have to move forward like this but if the Eagles get hot and eveyrthing starts clicking right nbow id hate to be any team coming into Philly to play them.

17. Okay, so: I was one of the Eagles fans who saw Rich's show In which he advised us to relax, and yes, I wasn't buying it. In my mind, while a good Eagles team SHOULD beat up on this truly terrible Raiders team, I haven't been sure that this year's Eagles are a good team. I'm sure I don't have to go through litany of reasons; suffice it to say, the problems they've had in scoring, particularly as compared with last year, have been unsettling.

    Although I thought the Eagles could win, and if their offense was clicking they would win big… We haven't seen a productive Eagles offense all year. And the Cowboys game, in which they coughed up a 21-point lead, followed immediately by the Bears game, in which they were pushed right out of the stadium, with he Bears laughing in their faces, did no inspire confidence. And then Jalen Hurts had a historically bad night against the Chargers. Give en the fact that the Eagles haven't been able to run OR pass, I thought we were in for a battle of field goals–the kind of game that either team could steal at the end.

    Nevertheless, I am happy to acknowledge that I was wrong and Rich was right. I'm going to continue to listen, and I'm hoping to hear what Rich saw that inspired such confidence in the Eagles. Cuz I could use some of that right about now.

21. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 "first eagles shutout since 2018"… against a team that lost 0-31 at KC….. IE lost by the exact same horrible shutout score to the 2 superbowl teams – 1 of which has dropped so bad they are already out of the playoffs. Only 1 team has a worst points differential than the Raiders…

    We aren't worried about the stinking Raiders…. We are worried about getting back to the Superbowl you dumb dumb!! We aren't the Cleveland or Jacksonville. Our team is the defending Champs… We expect more from our team. The noise me make made them take the play book from the OC which made this game look better.

    By the way the Raiders had 2 wins with their starting QB… We played their backup. So it's just the Raiders with a backup.
