  1. It wasn’t a particularly venomous question, but I love this attitude from the team. More direct pushback on our shitty media’s anti-Eagles agenda is great to see.

  2. Holy shit, what’s the obsession between fans and Philly media of destroying the team. We deserve to suck

  3. I’m hopeful that the team has seen and heard enough from the outside about them falling apart, collapsing etc. questioning their QB, their coaches and saying the OL isn’t good anymore. Always good to let the haters fuel your comeback.

  4. Love that shit. Jalen played a good response game and they still asking about last week. Enough is enough

  5. The reporter immediately says “the fans”. So they are throwing them under the bus for the media’s shitty takes.

  6. Come on though. Nobody made Hurts turn the ball over 5 (and could’ve been more) times besides Hurts and an assist from AJ. Let’s not act as if the people talking about his awful performance are in the wrong

  7. For real. These reporters don’t have the balls to ask a dude who has struggled to stay on the field this year anything to do with that, to his face. But will shade Hurts behind his back instead. Our media is so toxic.

  8. Dickerson showing class and how team talks should always be handled. No need to feed the media.

Talks about the season can happen after it’s all over. They still have a job to get done. Hopefully another Super Bowl final.

  9. In two years Hurts has barely turned the ball over. Last week was a rough game that happens every once in a while. But some of that was not on Hurts. The first almost int was terrible spacing made by goeddert so he overthrew brown. One interception was totally his fault but the defensive scheme was well disguised there. But bad read all around. The next interception Smith falls on the route but also the defense predicted the play call and jumped the route. A couple of times he gives his receivers great throws and they just did not complete the play. Which was the problem with the interception that went off of browns hands. Brown should be able to get that. It wasn’t great but catchable. Brown should have caught the final td pass so OT was not even a thought. The final int was definitely his fault.

  10. Obviously the sports media in this town is toxic as hell, but this question was completely reasonable and not the normal disrespect that the reporters throw at these guys fishing for hot takes. The reporter just asks “hey, Jalen had a bad game last week, how’s it feel to see him bounce back?” which is COMPLETELY fair. I love that these players seem to be ride-or-die for each other but this didn’t feel like the question to jump down a reporter’s throat about.

  11. Good job Nick.

The culture. The messaging. They are very clearly pushing back against the outside noise and taking control of the narratives.

Holding this team together cant have been easy

  12. It wasn’t the most horrible question to ask, but our local media is the worst. Between them being grimey as hell and all media, local and national, basically using us for hot takes to milk engagement since our fan base is so locked in, the shit gets old.

I think this is also why our issues get amplified and milked for as long as they do.

  13. Number of Eagles fans I have heard questioning Jalen hurts ability to lead this team: 0

Number of media outlets stirring up ship for clickbait engagement: 1,000,000

  14. It’s great to see his teammates getting his back, but it’s ridiculous to think a very diplomatic question about a 5 turnover performance constitutes “dogging” him. There is no world at all where a QB—any QB—can turn it over 5 times and not expect a little heat over it. Let’s grow up some.

  15. Let’s be real, in week 14, Jalen had a passer rating in the 30’s. He threw 4 picks and had a fumble. In week 15, his rating was in the mid 150’s. It was a much better week. The question wasn’t unfair at all.

  16. It would have been fun if he pressed that reporter with something like, “The fans?  Are you speaking for the entire fanbase?  Be specific about what a ‘rough ride’ is, we just buried Vegas in a shutout, and everyone was looking good, so what are you talking about last week for?”

  17. Kinda mixed on this. I appreciate the fact that they stick up for each other but at the same time I don’t think this was the moment to be negative to the reporter. He DID have a terrible game. The question wasn’t unreasonable whatsoever.

There are a million other questions in which him getting defensive would have been much more appropriate. Why choose this moment?

  18. Nothing wrong with snapping back at the media. It wasn’t a terrible question, but it’s still shit stirring…. And the media specifically caused a huge issue with the AJ Brown stuff.

Most of his teammates and most of the fans are like, “well he’s right. The offense isn’t playing well, and he’s not getting the ball. He wants the ball & he wants the offense to succeed.”

Before the 3 game skid he had specifically said, “we might be winning games now, but we’re not gonna be able to continue to win if we’re playing like this.” And boom he was right.

  19. I’d rather they honestly question Landon. What I want to know is if he thinks it’s plausible that he actually returns to a healthier state – closer to 100%.
