Some things never change.
I think that was his gap fill assignment. Kenneth was still ass with the chargers but I think that gap where the running back scored is his other linebackers gap assignment.
And to think we saw this on tape for us across multiple seasons, and Staley still preferred K9 over rookie Daiyan…

Poor Cowboys. Murray’s just awful.
Looked like a defensive bad playcalling. Only 1 LB covering the middle in goal line situation with fb in formation. 3-4 guys covering the left side, and #14 seems lost
This guy has parleyed freak athletic ability and being a good college player into stealing $28m from NFL teams.
This guys is one of the most athletic linebackers that is scared of contact.
He is trash. No shock there.
Neither of the LBs look like they know what to do here. One of them is running to the other side of the field, sees the ball get handed off, stops to consider trying to go for the ball carrier, and then continues to run to the other side of the field.
There are so many plays you could criticize Murray for, this ain’t one of them

Ahhhh Kenneth Murray…
I went and watched an Oklahoma and Kansas game his last season in college with Hurts as their quarterback Stevenson is there running back in Ceedee as their wide receiver… and as you can imagine since none of you can even think of a Kansas player in recent memory that’s in the NFL it probably would shock you to know that Kansas had a running back who was about 5 foot nine and 160 pounds run for something like 170 yards on that Oklahoma defense that day, anchored by Murray. Fast forward to the first round of the following years draft and my beloved Chargers take Justin Herbert in the first round and we think we’ve hit the mother load but then in explicitly they trade up to the bottom end of the first round and draft this fucking clown! He of course comes to San Diego literally can’t get on the field in his first year and plays absolutely terribly in his entire time with the Chargers. Imagine my surprise that he didn’t just wash out of the NFL and somehow ended up with the Cowboys and in a starting role no less!!! I don’t have any idea how that happened, but I’m just thankful that he’s not with the Chargers anymore!!!
Baffles me how he’s still in the NFL.
Perryman had a series where he had 3 consecutive run stops on Sunday
Idk if Murray has a single game with more than one run stop

Im so glad we got rid of him. He’s such a terrible tackler and slow as hell. And misses assignments
