Wild Make HUGE Move.. Multiple EXCITING Wild Updates | Minnesota Wild News

The Minnesota Wild have made a huge move after multiple weeks of fighting the injury bug. One return is imminent heading into tonight's game. We're going to be breaking that down, as well as going over multiple exciting updates from this Minnesota Wild team, including John Hines speaking about Quinn Hughes for the first time in a real decision. We're also going to be breaking down one major secret from Bill Garren here at the end of this video, so you will not want to miss that. But we have a lot of stuff coming, ladies and gentlemen. As you know, Quinn Hughes has been traded to the Minnesota Wild, and since that, so much news has been dropping. We have a video coming tonight postgame. We also have another video coming tomorrow with more updates surrounding what the next move is going to be for this Minnesota Wild team. So, you will not want to miss it, and you're going to want to be sure to hit that sub button, join me here on the channel so you stay up to date with everything going on with this Minnesota Wild team. But ladies and gentlemen, we need to jump straight into what we have here in today's video. As going into the latest updates, today's lines from this team, you see one big return on the third line. Marcus Felino is skating and seemingly ready to go from all reports for tonight's game. Now, Marcus Felino has been a guy who has been out for so long and has been very evident his absence. The Wild has still been playing good in his time that he has not been playing yet. He is still such an important part of this team, not just on the ice, but also bringing the energy. The Wild crowd has done a phenomenal job at that with Quinn Hughes's debut, keeping the energy up, and that is another major spark as to where the energy is coming from this team. But having Marcus Felino is only a positive. Having him back in this lineup has been such a big need. And although we're still looking at these lines with Ben Jones and Tyler Pitlick on the fourth line, multiple returns are soon coming. This was the first domino to fall and the one that we really wanted to see back. So, this is a great return and coming from Michael Russo here saying it looks like Felina will be activated off the IR and play tonight on the third line and second power play in pregame skates. So, as good as the Wild were playing in that time without him, once again, another major boost. So very very good to see him back here ready to go and ultimately having him in the mix with Quinn Hughes here. Not necessarily kind of combined, but the energy that Quinn Hughes brings to this team from the crowd and the team itself. Plus the way that Marcus Felino can also generate a lot of energy on any given opportunity. This just is another not just on ice boost, but mental and spiritual boost for this team heading into the Christmas break, the holiday break. It's going to be one that this team really needs to lock in on to make sure that they can continue to climb towards the Dallas Stars and the Colorado Avalanche. Now, a few more updates have dropped here today. With all of that, more injury updates have dropped from Michael Russo. Hines says John Johansson is dayto-day with a lower body injury. The Gojan is dayto-day with a lower body injury. Brodine is dayto-day with a lower body injury. No timeline for Middleton. He had test today. and Zukarelloo and Hinstrosza are skating on their own and Gustoson starts tonight. So once again, although you're getting a big name back, when one returns, two seems to drop. And that goes for Begoian and once again Rod Johansson in these latest games. Having these guys back will be big, but of course you need to stay healthy. And with the combined uh or sorry, the condensed schedule here on this season certainly is taking a toll on this team. Although they are still remaining very very competitive. Now with a few of these moves of course here, nobody not nobody placed on the IR and one coming off a move has to be made for that. And it seems like from Michael Russo it looks like Broaddin will be heading to the IR. Now this is not a bad thing because it will be retroactive to when he did leave. He's missed two games at this point, one more tonight, meaning after this game he should be able to come back. given the Wild and what they're going through, as many bodies as they can have on this lineup, we know they're going to do it, especially with how common the injuries have been. So once again, just a positive thing to see Marcus Johan uh excuse me, Marcus Fino coming back and having Johansson Bgoan out once again with Broaddin and a few other names seemingly I don't want to jinx it, but it seems like this team is continuing to get a little bit healthier and good now that everybody is just dayto-day apart from Middleton who is still on a no timeline basis. But all of that is why there are a few updates for tonight's game. And looking at the combination between how the Wild and the Capitals have seen their last games, the Wild really need to take advantage of this. And once again, like I said, and like I've been saying the past couple of days as these games have gone by, the Wild want to go into this holiday break on a very big streak. And they've done it so far. Obviously, a big win against Dallas, Seattle, Ottawa, Boston. Some teams that have been sneaky good this year. And continuing on with that here against the Capitals tonight. They're a good team. They're a very, very good team, but they have been on a slow set of games lately. We need to take advantage of that. And especially here looking at Charlie Lingren in net tonight, seemingly this Wild team once again has to really show that they're legit. They're ready to go and they will continue to take advantage of any given opportunity. The energy in the building is going to continue to be super super loud. So, I'm very excited to see how all of this does kind of play out and how it is going to continue into tonight's game with Quinn Hughes in his first actual practice this morning with the team and now another game, game two for him with the Wild. Now, John Hines did speak a little bit on Quinn Hughes and as we've seen the past couple of days, he hasn't really jumped into too much because he hasn't seen him play for the Wild just yet, but today and this morning, he really emphasized how much he trusts and likes Quinn Hughes's game. And he started off by saying this. Well, it's a huge value. We always talk about you want to be able to get out of your zone. And I think he's a guy that can play. Like the thing that's dynamic about him is that he can play within a structure. But also even within that structure, there's a lot of AA, B, and A, C play, and a lot of A. A lot of times he hits the play, which then I think allows for a secondary attack. He continues on by going with this. I think in that situation, getting out of your zone is very important. But I think also what occurs in the offensive zone or coming up even through the neutral zone is where the plays to be made. He can execute a lot of those plays at a high level. I also think in the offensive zone just the movement and the possession that he creates in those situations as well. So John Hines really kind of did emphasize not just the importance of what he thinks Quinn Hughes brings, but also how he will elevate the Wild game to another level. And the Wild are very good at a breakout team. They're a very good team at beabling uh being able to create opportunities in the offensive zone, but Quinn Hughes is just going to take that to an extra level. And as another kind of security blanket that we can add to this team by being someone who is just so consistent and being able to do that throughout his career, you're taking the pressure off some of these other guys and being able to set them up for something rather than having to be the play creator. So once again, Quinn Hughes obviously brings everything that we've spoken about, but as another level, he is someone that this team is loving to see, especially uh what's going to be provided for the remainder of this season here and where the Wild currently stand to be able to jump up in the standings. Now, taking a look at the schedule once again before we do move on to big uh Bill Garren's big secret that we do have here in uh the end of this video coming up for these remaining games ahead of the holiday break, I should say. The Capitals tonight going to Columbus for that game. Then you have some big games. Edmonton, Colorado, Nashville, and Winnipeg. Mainly those three there from the 21st to the 27th. Those are going to be some big games. Some games that you need to win. And especially having a hot streak leading up to that Colorado game. Being able to show that team that you can confidently beat them is going to be a very important sign, not just for the standings, but also for the way that this Wild team continues on throughout this season. So, that's going to be a big one. But, Bill Garren dropped a big secret. I feel like this really did get revealed by the Wild's Twitter page. And I'm not sure if this was an accidental leak or whatnot, but we do have the Garen family meatball recipe, the Quinnota meatballs. Now, I do apologize. We're kind of leading up to something crazy, but this is a meatball recipe if you want it for the holidays. I mean, the Wild account tweeted this out just based on the story that Bill Garren got when getting the call from Jim Rutherford for the Quinn Hughes trade. So, just kind of little funny thing that the Wild Twitter did put out. So, if you want some meatballs, here's a recipe for you guys for the holidays. But, ladies and gentlemen, that is all I have here in this video. And like I said at the beginning, we're going to have a video postgame tonight, a couple videos tomorrow, I know, with a set of moves that are going to be made and some more names that have been thrown out and some more reports up to what the Wild are looking to continue adding here before the NHL trade deadline. You won't want to miss it. So, be sure to hit that sub button. If you want it first, be sure to hit the bell as well. But it's all I got here on this one. If you did enjoy, give it a like. Hit the sub button as well. I'm signing out. Thank you for watching. Hope you have a great day. See you later.
