How are the jets THAT high? I feel like they haven’t been competitive in an incredibly long time.
I know that popularity doesn’t correlate with value fully, but it just seems high.
If the Yankees were to get sold, they would go for way more than $8.5B. The merchandise alone is worth that.

I imagine the growth of popularity with the nba around the world compared to baseball has caused the nba team valuations to all rise significantly

I’m also a little shocked at the value of all the NBA teams. I didn’t think they were doing that well that almost the entire league is ahead of MLB, and also ahead of quite a few major soccer teams. Like if you told me earlier today that that the Houston Rockets are worth more than PSG, Bayern Munchen, and Arsenal I would have thought that was insane.
It does seem that success drives value. That’s the only explanation for the GS Warriors who were not a prominent team when I was young. On the other hand it doesn’t explain how a mediocre franchise like the Cowboys can be so far ahead of everybody else.
It’s insane that the giants are worth that much and they don’t spend shit.

Had to Google the NHL one because it’s a little covered up, but 22/30 is the highest of the four for me then.
