Minnesota Twins owners bringing in a splashy name

Uh Michael Russo of the Athletic covers the Minnesota Wild and the National Hockey League reported that Craig Leupold, the Minnesota Wild's owner, is going to be part of the limited partners that are coming in here uh with the pole ads to help with the Twins. Very interesting move here. And and to be honest, uh if this is indeed true, and I'm I'm assuming it is, great move by the Twins. the the the rare the rare applause for me um and the rare rare applause from Twins ownership if they are indeed bringing in Craig Leopold, an owner that uh is not afraid to empower people to make splashy moves. We saw it with Quinny Hughes two weeks ago. They obviously signed Zach Perez and Ryan Sudter 12 years back. Um yes, they they haven't had playoff success, but they've always been very active at trade deadlines. He empowers Bill Garin. Um he's an owner that cares and wants to see that team to be successful. Now what say and what type of control does he have now with the twins and the polite ownership? Uh that remains to be seen. However, uh we will have some clarity on all these limited partners. Uh we did an episode obviously today, but the twins are going to announce formally these limited partners this week. So we will have more on that.
