[PFT] The NFL privately admitted to the Panthers that replay review erroneously reversed an on-field ruling of a fourth-quarter catch by WR Tetairoa McMillan.
Am I insane or are the refs more egregiously bad this year than normal?
I feel like every week there’s at least one earth-shatteringly bad call (this week the Rams Parkinson TD, last week the Ravens roughing penalty and so on)
I was screaming at my tv saying “HOW ARE THEY DOING A BOOTH REVIEW BEFORE THE 2 MINUTE WARNING” at the top of my lungs. This directly lost us the game too, because he had a first down here, and we probably go on a kick the game winning field goal.
Also the Saints didn’t challenge the play, it was automatically booth reviewed. I’ve never seen a booth review outside of 2 minutes on a nonscore nonturnover play. Refs have been screwing the Panthers over for years now and there is never accountability.
Somehow I think the refs also erroneously didn’t give Bryce the 1st down on his run either….
And the referees will face zero fucking consequences. What a chucklefuck system.
So Tepper is punching a bit more above his weight than the average owner right?
The guy cares so when this crosses his desk from his EA I hope he hops on the horn and makes himself known for the sake of our 10-year outlook.
Refs desperately don’t want us in the playoffs
Cool. Meaningless, but cool I guess.
There has to be accountability for this kind of thing. That could have changed the whole possession who knows – so frustrating

This is thier attempt to give Tepper cover
It’s been a not well hidden secret for years, the games are rigged… to an extent. The NFL doesn’t want teams to run away with divisions or playoff spots.
If the game had been officiated fairly, and Panthers had won last week, and imagine we win this weekend, there’s a world where we sit players who have small injuries to glue ready for playoff time. That’s a lower quality product, and it would hurt rating. Low rating, less money, less money, NFL unhappy.
It’s all about the benjamins
Just go back to Cam, he’s getting roughed up weekly, but they won’t call it, but if Brady had taken some of the hits Cam did, shit the whole New England region would have rioted.
If I was Tepper, I would basically OWN the NFL with this bullshit
I KNEW they should have made that a catch!! Even though the ball touches the ground, it was FIRMLY in his grass and there was 0 movement of the ball as it touches. That pissed me off SO bad. We were going down to score too 😑
Rigged for Vegas to line them pocket books 💯
Vacate the win, then.

I could barely watch the game from all the flags…. the refs have been terrible
I hate when the NFL “apologizes” and acts as if that means something. If anything, it just proves to everyone how big the ref problem actually is. If not even the NFL is willing to back the refs, how are the fans supposed to take them seriously. I’d much rather the NFL at least pretend that the refs are doing well during the season, and then make changes during the offseason.
The AI refs will have an algorithm to make the wrong call 15% of the time to simulate ba genuine fan experience
They rigged the fucking game. The Saints always get away with their gutter ball cheap shot bullshit.
Refball has been absolutely the bane of my existence this CFB and NFL season. Like, if the team loses, fine. Whatever, it happens. But to lose and have egregious Refball just makes it worse.
“Erroneously”
Were the other dozen penalties erroneous as well? If not I’m not gonna get mad about one call when we were pulling penalties we shouldn’t have been.
We were absolutely sandbagged and robbed. Fuck those refs to hell and back.
