What’s your favorite logo through the years ??!!

  1. What’s the difference in the last two?

Either way, I’m loyal to the 1986-2018 design. That’s my childhood Braves logo!

  2. I understand the insensitivities and it makes sense that it’s gone, but the screaming indian logos were incredibly cool to me. Wish I could snag a hat with that on it still.

  3. Present. It was the one that I saw when we won the World Series in ‘21! My first time seeing them win it!

  4. 72 to 86 no question. No racist caricature and some groovy 70s feel. Some of the Boston ones are nice in a classic way too.

  5. Of those ones the lowercase a but my favorite overall logo is the curvy upper case A on the hats

  6. The lowercase A is always a favorite, and when we get rid of this round of City Connect I hope we can reincorporate it into the next one.

Also maybe this is just the general nostalgia for the 90s talking, but I feel like the wordmark on the road jerseys used to be bigger and more fun. Like, look at the difference between Maddux [here](https://yourkillinmesmalls.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/maddux-2.jpg) and Matt Olson [here](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f0/Matt_Olson_at_first_base%2C_Aug_05_2022_%28cropped%29.jpg). The newer placement just looks a bit too clean.

  7. personally i’d have to go with #1, the BOSTON wordmark, or #10, the Chief superimposed over the state of Wisconsin. those two truly represent the Atlanta Braves the best.

  8. Anything with the laughing Indian…. but I was told by my Bostonian friend that it was racist… I’m not sure why but there you go

  9. I honestly don’t love any of them. I agree with the consensus though that 72-86 is one of the best but I don’t like the faded out look to the 50-52 logo and due to that I prefer the modern logo.

  10. 1940-44 is the best font and the 1955-56 i like how Wisconsin is in the background. I wish they would change our home jersey to two tone sleeves with different fonts.

  11. 1972-1986 is my favorite. And it isn’t racist, it’s the most joyous depiction of a Native American ever. Now, calling it the “Screaming Savage” is another thing…
