Tonight, as part of the NBA's seasonlong commitment to supporting YMCA's across the country as they celebrate their 175th anniversary, we are joined by the kids from the Bill and Lily Heinrich YMCA, who will present medals to the New York Knicks for winning the 2025 Emirates NBA Cup. Now, here is Commissioner Adam Silver. >> Thank you, Taylor. First of all, congratulations to the San Antonio Spurs. Exceptional game tonight. And to these young people here, you get an opportunity to present these medals. They're from the YMCA, which of course is where the game of basketball was created over 130 years ago. So, on behalf of the YMCA, thank you. Please present these medals to the players. And now to the New York Knicks, to Jim Dolan, Leon Rose, Coach Brown, Wes, you guys did a tremendous job. Comp players, please come get the Emirates NBA Cup. They're right here. >> Head coach Mike Brown. come on over. Congratulations. You became head coach of a team with championship expectations. How does winning this NBA Cup reinforce the standards that you need to reach the final destination? You know, anytime you can participate in any event where you're the last one standing and you're able to hang a banner, especially in iconic MSG, you take that seriously. And all of our guys took it seriously. But the most exciting part about it, I feel like we're IN NEW YORK RIGHT NOW. LET'S GO. LET'S GO. What fans WE GOT. LOVE YOU GUYS. Thank you so much. We're going to find a way. >> I know, of course, you're hyping up the incredible play of your teammates, but your leadership also really powered this run. What did this group ask of you in this tournament and how did you answer it? >> Um, they just told me to be myself. uh they got the utmost confidence in me, them, the coaching staff, uh the organization, this fan base, and uh all of them collectively. I mean, without them, I mean, I wouldn't be here. Seriously. >> Congratulations on this NBA club championship.
