Not bad, Salyer. Not bad at all

  1. Side note, saw 4 posts on raiders twitter begging for Minter. Spanos and co better strap him down for next year which could THE Super Bowl year

  2. We can win with this Tackle combo. He’s helped steady the ship and do enough to help us win. Back-to-back wins against last year’s SB teams.

  3. Should’ve happened earlier but I guess they valued his flexibility as a swing and his ability to step in for the oft-injured Becton more than his ability at LT

I just don’t think they realized how good he’d be.

I wonder if he’s just a guy who looks better on game day then he does in practice?

  4. Herbert is being protected better yet our offense has been so stale lately. I feel like it is going to come roaring back soon, and at the perfect time, right before playoffs…… lesss go bay bay

  5. It’s a shame our interior is so bad, our tackles have played admirably in this emergency starting carousel.

  6. Week 5 (Oct): Salyer was slated to start at right tackle but injured his right knee in practice.

Week 6 (Oct 12): Missed the game against the Dolphins due to the knee injury.

Week 7 (Oct 19): Was active but played an emergency role due to other O-line injuries (Alt, Hart).

Week 9 (Oct 26): Played left tackle, feeling about 80% but functional, according to The New York Times.

Post-Week 9: Became the Chargers’ primary left tackle, stabilizing the line despite the ongoing physical toll.
