Let me know if you want me to run a different series after.

Javy Baez was a dick who couldn’t hit before we got him and he didn’t hit while acting like a dick the whole time he was here.
Edit: and if it’s between him and Victor Zambrano… please. No one hates Zambrano, we hated that Peterson couldn’t “fix him” in two weeks or whatever he said he’d do. Poor guy just wasn’t that great. And you think we hated him because we gave up a solid pitcher in Kazmir? At least Zambrano tried to be good. Baez sucked and was an asshole and we gave up the best CF in baseball for him.
Edit 2: WTF? Baez raked when we had him. Those 47 games are way above his career slash line averages. He was such as asshole that my brain shut it out.
Tom Glavine. The primary reason he signed with us was because he was the head of the MLBPA, and felt obligated to take the highest offer.
I don’t think we need to get into how his tenure ended.
Edit: Did not realize that he was on here already. Oops.
Who hated Jesse Winker?
Has to be Zambrano, losing Kazmir for that loser was fucking insane. Or maybe just put Jim Duqutte on the list
There was zero love for Javy Baez before he was a Met, while he was a Met, and after he was a Met. Dude turned against the fans. Has to be Baez.
Vince Coleman and if doesn’t win this list is totally recency biased. He threw a firecracker at a child.
Vince Coleman
Kenny Rogers. Nobody in Queens ever liked that guy for one second.
It’s Vince Coleman
BUT I still hate Trachel’s quitting on us.
Verlander?
Darin Ruf
Vince Coleman
Not my nominee cause there’s already plenty of good ones here, but I wish there was a square for Tommy Pham cause he was just a real one for us and everything he said after leaving should have gotten him heat but dont think many other fans hold him in contempt for just being himself.
David Stearns?
Marcus Stroman
If this was after 24 sure, I’m not sure if Winker is still loved after missing all of 25 on multiple random injuries
As a Brit I have two that I despised especially when I was in my first few years of watching and listening and that’s Jason Vargas and Paul Sewald mainly because I’d be up till like 1am for first pitch just to listen or see either one of them throw absolute ass for 4.2 innings before being relieved
I know it’s against the rules of the game, but Chase Utley.
Familia had an arc. The only 43 save pitcher you could ever not trust coming out of the pen in 2015. His world series blown saves solidified this.
John Rocker
Ruf
Armando Germán Benítez
Vince Coleman
Guillermo Mota
Come on guys. Mets fans hated him and he threw at Piazza. Piazza charged the mound and Mota threw his glove and ran. Awful coward.
But wait! The Mets trade for him in 2006 after Mike leaves, and Mota pitched well. Then he blew a PED test but the Mets re-sign him anyway, and he sucked after that.
Hated him on the way in, hated him on the way out. Mota for the win here.
Oliver Perez
bobby bonilla.
Montas montas montas and montas
Was Benitez hated at the beginning
Juan Samuel. That trade put the nail in the coffin of what was left of the 80’s Mets (other than HoJo).
