1. If true then the Sabres need to trade him unfortunately. Love Tuch and I wish he could retire a Sabre, however they can’t give him $10.625M x 8, let alone go beyond that.

2. If they want to sign Tuch, they will need to unload Power, Quinn and/or UPL to make it happen

4. I’d love to see Tuch stick around. Hell, I named my Golden Retriever Tuch, but there comes a point that a contract becomes a burden on a team. I’m hoping I don’t have to cheer against him when he’s on the ice.

5. I mean in 8 years the cap is going to be double what it is now. Which would mean percentage wise it would be around what his contract is when he signed it with Vegas

6. I mean I get it because he was wayyy under paid for a long time but unfortunately that doesn’t mean you get back pay for all those years that would be a truly awful contract. Guess the writing is on the wall now he’s gone. It’s too bad he didn’t work out one of the few guys that truly cared through and through until the last little bit or so

9. I’m just glad Jarmo is dealing with this now. I haven’t seen Kempe play that much, is he better than Tuch?

10. I would not be surprised to see him end up on Minnesota or Toronto.

    But we have to hold onto our good players as long as the deal isn’t insane.
    We can’t have a Briere / Drury situation happen now.
