Insider Reveals BOMBSHELL Blues Trade UPDATE…
A NHL insider dropped a bombshell trade update on the St. Louis Blues with one player in particular as Doug Armstrong has a huge decision to make moving forward with a report going as far as saying players know it’s coming and it’s only a matter of time before the Blues start dealing. We’re going to break down all these reports coming from an NHL insider. The players link to this and so much more in this episode. But before we get into, I just want to give a huge shout out to everyone watching and we’re trying to reach a goal of 5,000 subscribers. So, if eight of you want to go down right now, hit that subscribe button. It’s completely free and we’ll continue giving you daily updates from all around the team. Now, Darius, this is a team that has been struggling mightily. We see in the first round exit last season. They’re currently dropping in the standings. We can see the highest odds as of recording this to get the first overall pick. Things have not went the St. Louis Blues ways. We’ve seen injuries that you can’t blame all this recent failure on because the team sucked even with those players in the lineup. But this goes straight into the reports we’re starting to get. Coming from David Pagnote of the fourth period. They’re willing to change things up and down the roster right now. Honestly, it’s a matter of wind and it sounds like the players are waiting too. Now, there’s a lot of names that we’ve seen floated around quite a bit. Brighten Shen is a name that has been circulating for not only this year but the years previous when linked to teams like Ottawa, Toronto, anyone contending. But now we get this report coming from David Pegnota via the sheet and he says Jordan Kyu they’re not afraid to have those discussions to Thomas Snugroot are non-starters but I think everyone else they’re players that the Blues are willing to listen on. Now Jordan Kyru is someone that the fan base is completely split on. We know a lot of people love him in this lineup. a lot of people don’t. What is your thoughts on this trade report coming out that not only are they listening to everyone, but the fact that Jordan Kyu was named as the one specific player? There’s a couple things here. Now, we’ve also heard earlier this season that the reason they haven’t pulled the trigger on the Braden Shen thing yet is because obviously last year he had a no movement clause, now he’s a modified no trade list. It’s easier to trade him now. But the other reason is because he’s the captain of this team. They’re afraid of trading him to kind of switch up. If you trade him, you’re switching up the culture right away. just as a result of that, right? So, that’s something that they’re scared of as well. So, he might be maybe, you know, the second move, maybe a third move that they made. I’m not counting him out as the first move that they make, but I do think that they’re being cautious about that one specifically. Now, this report from David Pñota is huge, right? Obviously, I think that for him to say some of the players are waiting for it, too. You’re not going to be able to perform that way. So, that might be another reason why the team looks even worse now and losing to teams like Nashville. So, that’s something that you can’t play under uh in the right mindset. So, maybe some players are waiting for that to come down now. Now, we know that Doug Armstrong is not going to sit on his hands much longer. How much longer can he possibly do this for? Heading into the new year, I do believe there’s going to be a move coming up here soon. Whether it’s right when the new year kicks off or uh right before after Christmas. So, that’ll be interesting to monitor as well. Now, the other interesting thing, I don’t know if he did it on purpose, but David Pota did not list Phil Broberg on this list, which I think is very interesting. The other player that he didn’t list is Bhnavic, who I think is definitely at the top of the list if we’re talking about players like Jordan Kyu, for example, who we’ll get into. But, uh, there’s a couple players still that I think, you know, uh, are very interesting that he didn’t list there, but maybe you’re just throwing out a couple names off the top of his head that you he thinks are untouchable. But, uh, definitely Snugru, definitely Thomas. I would not trade those guys. Holloway I think is the future of this team. Broberg as well. Those are guys that wouldn’t trade. Beyond that, I think there’s a lot of room to start making some moves. >> And I think the big thing is looking at the Blues team, you need to do something. Do they have a culture change? It could be argued that they do. Looking at the team and the fact that no one’s really stepped up, took the head of steam and went out to try to will them to wins. D’Vorski has done this. We’ve seen the two goals in it last game. Fabry looks like their best offensive player and overall player after what, two games on the ice with this team. And I think it gets interesting when you’re looking at Jordan Kairo, a name that has been brought up constantly. As you can see, and as you’ve said, Darius, there’s a lot of guys that you should have on this. Broberg is one in particular that you cannot trade. This is a future star on this team. But with Jordan Kyu, it gets really interesting. You’re looking at a guy year three of eight on his current contract. 8.1 looks like a lot for the production he’s doing right now. But the big thing is this is an ever growing cap world. We’re going to see the cap jump 10 plus million a year. Some people are saying it could jump more depending on the revenue that’s going to be coming through. This is a team that’s going to have a contract that a lot of players and other management groups are going to want on their team. But the biggest issue there is as we can see as the July 1st a no trade clause has kicked in and Jordan Kyro gets to dictate basically where he goes if he’s traded at all. And Darius, looking at this, do you think there’s a world where maybe Jordan Kairo who has taken a lot of slack? We’ve seen him bench this year. We’ve seen him scratched this year. Do you think maybe he looks at this and saying, “Hey, maybe I want to go to the East Coast. He’s from somewhere over there as well. Do you think he’s open to the idea of maybe just a fresh start in general with this new team?” >> I definitely think he’s open to a fresh start at this point. I mean, we’re not in his head, but we do know, you know, heading into this season till July 1st, he didn’t have he could have been traded. Now he has a no movement clause like you mentioned right in his contract at 8.1 and some change is going to be pretty hefty to move at this point with the no movement clause in place. But we do know that he was you know named in two potential trades heading into this year uh July 1st of this year and it was one of them was the Montreal Canadians and I believe it was the Minnesota Wild. I could be wrong on that but uh we do know that he was named in two trades and they were trying to make something work before that deadline and ultimately it didn’t get done or maybe Doug Armstrong didn’t like it. So, they have, you know, been floating him around for a while. I do wonder if he’s looking at this like, man, this team’s about to get younger. We’re not really going to be too competitive. I wonder if I’d be open to a fresh start somewhere else. So, it’s very interesting. There’s a bunch of injuries piling up, including himself. Of course, he has to get back healthy and playing for this trade to take place. But, uh, I think that, you know, when you look up and down the lineup, to me, I think you’re starting with Bhnavic. I don’t think there’s much out there for him right now. And then it’s probably Kyu after that. >> And I think that’s the big thing. I mean, if this is a team that you’re going to blow it up, you’re going to get a lot of assets. Jordan Kyu might be struggling a tiny bit to start the year. And I wouldn’t say struggling. 16 points in the 28 games does look good when you compare it to a lot of this lineup, but this is a player that you’re going to get picks and prospects back for. You’re looking at Shen once again, a slow start to the year, but still a captain in the NHL that knows what it takes to win. He’s going to fetch you a lot. And looking at this team as a whole, you’re going to bring in a lot. If you’re tearing this down to the studs, you’re going to bring in a lot of first round picks. And Darius, I kind of want to throw it back to you with the two options. If you’re looking at this team and Doug Armstrong saying, “Hey, we’re going to trade a lot of players.” Do you look at maybe a quick retool, keep a lot of your guys, Robert Thomas, Broberg, Bennington, Hober, even your young guys throughout the lineup, or do you look at this and say, “Hey, let’s tear it down to the studs. Of course, you keep Snuggard, you keep neighbors, you keep the guys under 24, but other than that, move absolutely everyone out. >> I don’t think tearing it down to the studs works in terms of a rebuild. We’ve seen it in a couple different areas in different markets in the league so far, and it doesn’t work. And I think Chicago is only starting to dig themselves out of that, but I don’t even know if it’s going to work out for them. I look at the Sharks, a team that has like Tyler Tofoley, let’s say, right? And I don’t think some of the Blues players that you want to keep are as old as him, but I think you want to keep some guys around. Thomas, for example, Snugru is a great piece. You don’t want to trade him, right? He’s a young uh really good young piece still. Holloway, for example, you don’t want to trade any of those guys, right? So, I think you keep those guys. Uh, you know, Thomas for sure. Uh, outside of that and Broberg, right? But outside of that, I do think that you trade off, but you don’t want to go scorched earth and trade everybody. I don’t think a rebuild works in that way. And I think you want to keep some of your relatively still young. Like I know Thomas is getting a little bit older in terms of experience in the league, but you know, Snugru is still young, Holloway’s still young. Like keep these guys. Do not trade those guys and build around them. Continue to build around them and get younger, but some of the older pieces try and get some assets for them. >> And I think the big thing is if you’re looking at tearing it down to the studs, the Buffalo Sabres have not been in the playoffs since Barack Obama was in office. And we were seeing Mike Greer, who’s also the general manager of the Sharks, was actually on that roster. This is what it is. You do not tear this down to the studs. But I do think you move out a lot of these veteran guys. But fans, what is your thoughts on this? What do you do with this team? Who do you trade? Is Jordan Kyu the first guy you move out? Is it Shen? Do you tear it to the studs? Let us know all your thoughts down in the comments. While you’re down there, leave a like, subscribe, share this with your friends. We’ll be back another episode to keep your eye for that. But I’ve been your host Mark with my co-host Darius. And listen, Blitz fans, it can’t get worse. You can drop in the standings, but things got to go up eventually.

I am wondering why Jordan is not back yet… they said the injury was better than expected
Braden Schenn & Jordan Binnington to The Habs for Arber Xhekaj & 2026 2rd Pick. Bootheel Blues
Yea I wouldn’t blame the guy if he did want to be traded it’s a mistake but I wish him the best let’s get rid of Armstrong and the fans that want kyrou gone be careful what u want the lack from all the players kyrou has led the team for 3 years 😮
Butch, Kyrou, Scheen, Parayko, Faulk, Binnington in that order
They suck because Army's system stinks they look confused the whole coaching staff needs to go
Winnipeg is coming into town tonight and counting on an EASY two points
Kyrou needs to go. He doesn’t forecheck at all.
middling mediocre blues is for profit ..1.6 bill tommy shill ..turnstiles baby is all that matters
The entire NHL culture has players paid like they are stars and have never won anything. No ring, no money! Win first, then get paid! Look at the Leafs… a model example of total underachieving! Buchnevich, Broberg… are they worth it? Just ask the Leafs if Matthews or Nylander are worth the bang for the buck! Fabri and McGing have million $ heart on a budget!
Notice how this team is still heartless and awful without Kyrou? He's not the problem. If he's moved, it better not be for "we just had to do something". Oshie 2.0 would be mind numbing
through 34 games we are almost identical to where we were last year.. We have them right where we need them! LOL
We need fast players who can PASS and SHOOT the puck like other teams do. Young hungry players who care about winning.
I say get rid of army before you do anything and then start getting rid of coaching staff
I think schenn Binnington torpchenko sunquist bjugstadt faulk fowler buchnevich all go before year is done
I wish I had a dollar for every Kyrou trade that was immanent.
thomas is a cancer. he is the one player that must go. he is supposed to be a leader as he wears the A. The young players on this team follow his example of weak defender, lackadaisical skating and effort, not willing to shoot, poor attitude. He ran Berube out of town, nuff said.
Hearing non trade guys didn't hear Dalibor Dvorsky should be absolutely on untouchable list
Trade Binnington!
My list of players that should NOT be traded
Thomas Neighbors Holloway Snuggerud Dvorsky Toropchenko
Suter Broberg Logan Hofer.
Trade the rest
K y r o u and Holloway are great together
In my extremely uneducated opinion, I say keep Tommer, Neighbours, Holloway, D-Vo, Snuggy, Broberg, and Walker (just because he plays like he gives a shit). Everyone else, show 'em the f***ing door. If I wanna see my team play uninspired hockey and get dummied by any/everyone, I'll play Club 6's in NHL 26 lol!
Love the content boys! 🤙
Cut Tex and now he’s tearing it up for the havs what is going on
Unfortunately, even if we could shop Kyrou, I don’t think we would get much for him. They’ve missed the window we’re stuck with him
Plenty of games left for a top team to lose a player or 2 to injuries and look at a possible trade/acquire of a player.
Parayko needs to go, he looks like he just doesn't care on the ice and can't clear out infront of the net. Kyrou atleast shows more passion in my opinion
You move the player that would help you get 2 more first round picks this year plus some other assets and a few current roster players. I dont think it works with all YOuNG players or we end up like Buffalo. We need the right mix of experience and youth.
If you can get at least a younger NHL ready RHD and a first for Kryou I say make that trade.
Buch I think is the biggest problem but probably unmovable.
