Wild make ANOTHER move… It’s happening AGAIN | Minnesota Wild News
The Minnesota Wild have made another move as it has happened again. The injury bug continues to plague this Minnesota Wild team. And one move that we mentioned last video has officially happened. We’re going to be breaking it down, going over what that is, as well as a few more updates which happened from last night’s game, including some very interesting stats from Denilov proving that Bill Garren was 100% correct. Ladies and gentlemen, we have a lot to break down here in this video, the first of today. We still have that video coming out later of the next Minnesota Wild move being revealed. We’re going to have that later tonight. So, ladies and gentlemen, you’re going to have to hit the sub button, hit that bell icon as well, so you get notified whenever we upload videos. And we have a lot of stuff coming. So, you’re doing yourself a favor by staying up to date with your Minnesota Wild, but also hitting that sub button. And once again, I say this, but your guys support has been absolutely phenomenal as of late. I appreciate every single one of you guys watching this video, but we need to jump straight in to what is going on. And as we mentioned, Damon Hunt did leave last night’s game after only playing three minutes going knee on knee with Ethan Frank. And we expected the worst. It was just bound to happen for this Minnesota Wild team. And as we’ve seen, one step forward, two steps back. That has been this biggest issue with the Wild team this year due to injuries. But one move has been made to help out with the absence of Damon Hunt. Michael Russo tweeted this out. Finally, Carson Lambos’s NHL debut could be coming. Recalled with Damon Hunter hurt, Jonas Broaddin has been placed on the IR to make room, but do not worry. It was retroactive, so he can return anytime he’s ready. And now the Wilds are without Jonas Broaddin, Jacob Middleton, Zack Begoen, and Damon Hunt on the back end. I don’t know how unlucky a team can be more than this. We’ve seen so many injuries from this team with mainly the defense, but also the forwards, but especially with the depth that this wild team has. They’re very, very lucky that they can jump in and replace someone on defense as easy as they can. Now, you’re not going to get the same results as what a Jonas Broaddin would be playing, but it will be suffice for what you need. And going into this as well, looking at the defense right now, and these are the projections from Puck Pedia going into tomorrow’s game, of course, Quinn Hughes and Brock Faber, Carson Lambos on that second line defensive pairing with Jared Spurgeon. I think that is going to be, if this is going to be the line, a great spot for Lambos to make his NHL debut after waiting multiple multiple years. and Matt Kirststead and David Yurichek once again. But Carson Lambos is a guy that we have been waiting for forever to make his NHL debut really just got caught up in the weeds of every single prospect that this Wild team has had on the defensive side of things. His name kind of got covered up. Now, of course, Brock Faber getting acquired in that Kevin Fiala trade was one big thing that kind of somersaulted him over Carson Lambos here. But finally, he’s been waiting for this. He’s been ready and this is going to be a great time for him to make his debut. He is going to be punching a little bit above his weight class and I think that’s going to be a great start for him especially with how this Wild team has been playing. His pairing and Jared Spurgeon once again if this is the lineup and I do assume that this will be how things are going to look come Thursday’s game if someone else does not return and it certainly does not seem like they will. So, I’m excited. I’m very happy for Carson Lambos and I’m very excited to see how he does perform and how he takes this feat going into this. Now you’re looking at the injuries. This is one thing which is genuinely crazy. You can go through any other team and not see this but we now have seven on this list. Broaddin, Middleton, of course, Johansson, Hunt, and Bean. Luckily, Hunt, Bean, and Johansson not in the IR slots. Zukurella, Hinestro, Middleton, and Broaddin. Once again, all really at this point, day by day, Middleton is skating once again now, which is good. Started skating today. So, that’s a very positive sign, but still not a timeline for his return. So, Carson Lambos may need to get comfy here because looking at how this kind of overall defensive injury whole kind of core has been going. It’s a lot of dayby day, but it’s a lot of they don’t want to rush anybody back. They don’t want to make sure anybody’s getting hurt again. So having Lambos here is going to be a very exciting look, although still going to be nerve-wracking just to see once again knowing that an injury can happen as quick as they have. Now for what Carson Lamos brings to the table, it is very good. Now we saw exactly what he could do with the Winnipeg Ice in his first uh you know or sorry his last couple years in the WHL. that started to slow down in the AHL when he did get to his professional game, but the Wild trusted him with the first round pick and they still believe that was the right pick for him. Start uh a little bit slow for this season, but I think that it’s just a matter of time until he catches it. His game changed quite a bit from when he was with Winnipeg and Coupney until now with Iowa. and he still provides such a solid defensive game, which is exactly what the Wild are going to need over these next couple of games before the holiday break as they’re getting three games in four days. So, Carson Lambos, I think, was the guy that they trusted the most for this feat. And as I mentioned a couple days ago, I really thought that he was the next guy in line and that was indeed the case. Now, a few more updates on this defensive side of things. I was wrong. Middleton starting skating to uh tomorrow. Hines doesn’t envision any of the seven injured players to travel to Columbus, meaning Hunt is likely missing his return to Columbus. So once again, another sign pointing towards Carson Lambos going to be playing tomorrow. So that one game on the road going to be a big fix there. Whatever happens after that for those next two games at home will be to uh will be to be determined. But a lot of injuries that this team is still dealing with. They’re making the best of it, though. They’re containing. They’re still playing the great game and at this point right now they have to continue playing this way. They can’t really afford to go astray. So whatever happens next is still going to be uh you know a big question like you see here dayto day uh started skating evaluated today. Middleton who’s stating uh tomorrow and Vinstroza day today as well. So hopefully we do see these guys return as soon as possible. Once again no rush to bring them back because you don’t want them to get reinjured. I think if it is until the holiday break, you let him go, get that few extra days and get back to regularly scheduled business. So, let me know what you think about that. Now, we do have a few more updates here for all of what’s been going on the past couple of days. The first one here, once again, you’re kind of slim in the uh the minor league defense right now. I think if there were to be another one, god forbid, let’s hope there is not. They’re running out of names. I mean, David Spot having a great season once again. He’s been very, very good. more of an offensive side of player though and a right-handed defenseman. So, he could be another name the Wild do explore if some things do not go as planned. Jack Per as well. A lot of questions. And Ben Gleon, you know, whatever happens next, I think is going to be something that we have to wait and see until whatever happens because I do not want to jinx anything. I don’t even want to bring it up in mind. But do have one more update here. I did forget to mention this in yesterday’s video as well as a shout out from Philip Gustoson. And like you guys said, I think this is something that goes to show how crazy this team has been playing that I forgot that we had a shut out or I forgot to mention that we had a shut out. But this one here in specific as well really emphasizes the game that Denil Yurov played. He won 10 of 11 faceoffs last night, 90.9% and the highest single game faceoff percentage among NHL rookies on the season who had a minimum of 10 faceoffs while also posting a career-high three points. Bill Garham was spot on. They trust Anil Yurov and I feel like that was a massive confidence boost for him as well. Of course, playing on the line with Vladimir Terasenko. The chemistry those two have is phenomenal. But I do think this is just another emphasis on Bill Garren 100% making the right move in that Quinn Hughes deal. So ladies and gentlemen, let me know what you think about the move of bringing up Carson Lambos as well as what you think about, you know, kind of the injuries. I feel like it’s been something we’ve been dealing with all season. So, it’s nothing new for this team, but at what point does it stop? I mean, it’s only a matter of time until we can hope that we see a fully healthy team, but like I said earlier in the video as well. We do have another video coming later today. So, ladies and gentlemen, be sure to hit the sub button and the bell if you want to get notified when that goes live here, ladies and gentlemen. I don’t have a time, so I can’t guarantee you. So, there’s another reason to hit that bell, but I appreciate all of your guys support as of late. You guys are incredible. I appreciate all of you guys watching. Is all I have in this one, though. If you did enjoy, give it a like. Hit the sub button as well. I’m signing out. Thank you for watching. Hope you have a great day. See you
