The Raiders and the Texans uh doing battle in Houston here uh for this next game that we are previewing and uh it’ll probably be a short preview. I’m not going to lie, folks. Uh talk to me about the Texans, Dalton. What are you looking for with their offense? >> I think a game like this. So for the the stakes here for the Texans, if they win and the Colts lose against San Francisco, they don’t clinch a spot, but they’re pretty darn close to it. They’ve basic almost virtually clinched it, barring any sort of miracle there from the Colts and turning things around. But um when you look at to me this game, what it should be is just a a further jelling of their offensive line that has gone through a lot of changes and things like that during the season. Now they’ve got Trent Brown at right tackle over the last few weeks. They moved Titus Howard back into left guard and you just got guys who are trying to gel and get better as the season goes on. You’ve got the rookie left tackle Arante Ursery who was really good this past week. And I think that really needs to be the theme for this Texans team. They’re going to go as far as their offensive line can take them. This is since week five. The first month of the season was a real struggle. But since week five, all right, we’re 21st in pass blocking grade. At least it’s not dead last like some people, you know, like us projected them to be. Ninth lowest pressure rate in the league since week five. We’ll take that. Impact run blocking rate at 11th right there. So kind of high variance when it comes to run blocking. It seems like it’s either really good or there’s a lot of whiffs in there too, which kind of evens out to being 23rd in run blocking grade. But this needs to be a game where this current unit, this current five they have on the field, just continue to get better, continue to find that chemistry both in the run game and in pass protection. Obviously, a very winnable game against this Raiders team. But I think this offensive line is going to be the the variable and how far the Texans can go. A really good game here and an opportunity for them to improve as a unit here. On the other side of things, looks like Gino Smith’s going to be back for the Raiders starting in this game. Um, I suppose that will give them a better chance than when Kenny pick it out there. They got absolutely destroyed in total yards. Only scored only recorded 75 total yards on offense last week against the Philadelphia Phil Philadelphia Eagles. They got beat 31 to zero and they got absolutely destroyed in the time possession game. The Raiders aren’t winning this game. They are 14 and a half point underdogs and the overunder is just 37 and a half would be the upset of the season if they win this game. Texans are winning 24 to6. I I I I do not I do not have an answer for you as a way that the Raiders win this football game. I have I have no idea how they would win this football game. >> Texans are winning it. >> I agree regardless of the quarterback. Um, I have no clue how they’re going to block this defensive line with their offensive line injuries. I don’t know on the outside how those young guys on the outside are going to get open. Aside from Brock Bowers, he always gets his, but how the wide receivers are going to get open against this great secondary. And eventually, I think the Texans, their offense is really, we’ve talked a lot about Jacksonville in this division. The Texans are starting to really find it in both dimensions on offense. I’m actually I’m going to get a little bit gutsy here. I’m going to take the same score the Raiders uh had last week against Philadelphia. 31 to nothing Texans. I thought you were about to say that you were going to get gutsy. >> No, not that. No. What are you crazy? I’m still trying to stay ahead of you in the standings. I’m not going to be No. No. I’m going to I I don’t I don’t like calling out shutouts, which means the Raiders are now going to score like 27 points for no reason at all. But I’m going with it. 31 nothing. Same score as last week. >> Uh I’m trying to look at what the moneyline bet would be for the Raiders. >> Oh, probably plus like 600 or so. Somewhere in there. >> Uh it is plus 1,000 on DraftKings. >> Wow. Yeah. >> Wow. Just I mean you can if you want to. Go ahead Trev. Feel free. >> Is there any game that’s even above 300? >> Uh >> oh. The Browns are plus 480 money line to beat the Bills. >> And even then that feels like okay there’s like a realistic okay the Browns in Cleveland with their defense and you know just some nonsense. I I don’t even know if we got nonsense how close this game would be. >> Plus 1,000. That’s wild. Everyone’s got takes. Numbers have truth. And the truth is most people are betting with emotion.
