This Is A HEIST For The Dallas Mavericks…
This is a heist for the Dallas Mavericks as we are now in trade season and anything can happen between now and the trade deadline in February. And on this channel over the last several weeks, ever since Nico Harrison got fired, we have been following every single little rumor trying to see where’s the truth amongst all of the noise? Are we going to trade Anthony Davis? Are we going to keep him and stay competitive? In fact, it was Mark Cuban who came out and said, “We are not trading AD. We are trying to win games right now.” And although it is Mark Cuban and you got to take what he says with the grain of salt, we have gotten conflicting reports showing that there is a fire sale in Dallas. And not only is Anthony Davis going to be shot, but also Klay Thompson, D’Angelo Russell, and Daniel Gaffford. And although we don’t know exactly what will happen between now and the trade deadline, we do have some news about certain teams that are interested in Anthony Davis. And one team being the Miami Heat. And although we may not be looking to trade Anthony Davis, that won’t stop teams from offering certain packages. So, in this video, we’re going to take a look at all the news surrounding the Miami Heat, Anthony Davis, what could they possibly give up for AD and whether or not that’ll be the right package for the Dow’s Mavericks to make a move. But, how’s it going everybody? My name is Marcel Martin. This is Mavericks Digest, bringing you the latest news on everything Mavericks related. And before I get started with today’s video, you know, we got a goal on this channel to hit 24K before the end of the year. Hopefully by Christmas. We’re currently sitting at 23,810 subscribers. And if you want to be up to date on everything Mavericks related from trade rumors, injury updates, live streams, watch alongs, and more, subscribe for more digest. But the Dallas Mavericks have a pretty interesting rest of the season ahead of them as we don’t really know who’s coming and who’s going. We did get the report that the Dallas Mavericks aren’t looking to make any major trades until they see what it looks like with Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving, as well as Cooper Flag. And I think that’s rightfully fair. We know that Kyrie Irving is coming back from an injury sometime between now and the trade deadline, which should give us a good sample size of what we can expect when the team is finally all together. And although we don’t have Derrick Lively or Dante XM for the rest of the season, I think the rest of the guys in some capacity altogether could give us a clear picture, an idea of what this team could possibly be. And although there has been many reports, especially from Mark Cuban himself, who were saying, “We are not trading Anthony Davis,” we did get a report just the other day that actually doubled downs on Mark Cuban’s report. We did get this saying that the Mavericks are strongly looking to remain competitive for the remainder of the season. According to team sources that Athletic has spoken with, the Mavericks are signaling a desire to be competitive for the rest of the season. Even though Dallas’s 2026 firstround pick is the last of its own first round picks it has outright control of until 2031. And on this channel as we talk about everything trade related, we have talked about how the number one glaring issue that we have is that we don’t control our first round picks for the next four years after this upcoming this upcoming draft. Yes, that 2026 draft class is very, very deep. And if we do find ourselves in the lottery, honestly, one through eight can get you a very good player to pair alongside Cooper Flag. And by no means am I team tank. I love watching this team compete. I will say I am more so team rebuild. I think that we could definitely retool at the very least. And there are ways that you can go about retooling this team without tearing it down or having to go through four or five years of being bad. Just a few smart trades to get the right players at the right time could change everything for the Dallas Mavericks. And there’s also been many other reports coming out showing that there’s no trade market for Anthony Davis. Nobody wants him. And although you could make the argument that that may be true, but there is a market for Anthony Davis. Teams are interested. And even though he’s only played in about 11 games this season, Anthony Davis’s stats, they’re not bad. I mean, he’s not MVP caliber championship bound Anthony Davis, but for this season, he is averaging 20 points per game, as well as 10 and a half rebounds, 3.2 assists, shooting f I’m sorry, shooting 51.7% from the floor, 31.8% from three with 1.4 steals, 1.6 blocks, and 1.8 turnovers, and 2.2 fouls per game. And overall, I mean, shooting wise, not too bad. The threes never really been his strong suit, but at least the the percentage from the floor is over 50%. For a big man, that’s what you look for. his points, rebounds, assists, they’re all looking good. His true shooting could definitely improve. And obviously, with the health of Anthony Davis constantly being in question, a lot of teams will be cautious when it comes to Anthony Davis. But that doesn’t mean there’s not a market. Teams are interested. And just yesterday, we did get a report from Jake Fischer himself that highlights exactly which team is interested in Anthony Davis. And that team would be the Miami Heat. as a report came out saying that the Miami Heat could pursue Anthony Davis if Giannis is unavailable per Jake Fischer saying Miami I don’t believe would make an allout effort for AD right now until they know for sure Giannis isn’t for the taking but that pairing of Bam and AD I would not rule that out as a scenario. Now obviously if you’ve been following all the rumors and all the hubbabaloo or whatever you want to call it surrounding Giannis and the Bucks and where he wants to go does he want to be traded? It’s a It’s a mad house right now in Milwaukee, but we do know following the reports that Miami is a destination that Giannis wouldn’t mind going to. But if Giannis chooses to go somewhere else or just stays in Miami, I’m sorry, stays in Milwaukee, then Miami could change their focus to AD. Now, I understand the report show that we’re not looking to trade AD. We don’t want to give them up. We want to be competitive. That’s not what this video is about. This video is showing what would Miami Heat need to offer us for us to make a move and trade Anthony Davis. The reports have all come out showing that the Dallas Mavericks obviously don’t want to trade him unless a package comes to the Dallas Mavericks front doorstep that will make them make that move. So, what trade package needs to be made to the Dallas Mavericks to make them finally trade with Anthony Davis? Well, I jumped up in the lab in the old trade machine. I cooked up something that I think a lot of Mavericks fans would like. I myself love this fully. The Dallas Mavericks would receive Terry Roier, Norman Pal, Keller, and the 2026 first round pick. While the Miami While the Miami Heat receives Anthony Davis and Dwight Pal. If the Heat want AD, it would look something like this. Who says no? Well, the reasoning behind this trade, and I’ll break it down really quick. You get Terry Rosair and Norman Pal because they’re both on expiring contracts. Terry Rosair has a lot of drama surrounding him about gambling and rigging games. And you could take that away from the Miami Heat so they could focus on winning basketball games. And that’s a lot of salary that will come off of the books this upcoming season. While Keller is in his current second year, he’s in his sophomore year of his NBA career. A lot of people would say that he’s better than Derek Lively right now. He does provide a different style of play for the Dallas Mavericks. That’s a blend of spacing the floor, shooting threes, but also being a paint presence that the Dallas Mavericks could desperately use. The Miami Heat get Anthony Davis as that’s what they’re looking for. But they also get Dwight Pal one because he’s also on expiring contract, but that also gives them an extra big as they are giving up one as Anthony Davis and Bam would share the four and the five. But Kellar is the prize in this trade. He is the player that the Dallas Mavericks could definitely use that would change everything. As of right now, Daniel Gaffford is available playing every now and then. He’s dealing with injuries, but hopefully he is more consistently in our lineup. We know that Derrick Lively is out for the season. We do have Musi who is playing really good for undrafted rookie, he killed it in the G-League and we know that every time his numbers called up in the NBA, he always comes out with energy. So if you trade away Dwight Pal and maybe if you do do another trade and get rid of Gaffford, then you are left with only two real bigs in Kellaware and Derek Lively. But I would argue that we will be in good hands. It’ll be our own version of the Twin Towers. And Kellaware with you can see his stats on the screen right now. He’s actually a very good big man that the Dallas Mavericks could utilize. He’s averaging 11.1 points per game, 10.2 rebounds,.5 assists,.5 assists, while shooting 53.3% from the floor, 40.7% from three. That’s what I’m talking about when I say space the floor. And also 81.6% from the free throw line, which is better than Derrick Lively. And again, a lot of people would argue that he is better than Derrick Lively. Derek Lively dealing with injuries. This would be a great insurance policy that you would actually prefer over Lively, but keeping them both would also benefit the team. Like I said, you got Musa Cisi who’s a different style of big that could definitely help out the team. But Kellaware also averages 0.9 steals, 1.3 blocks per game, as well as 1.2 turnovers, and only 1.8 fouls per game. The Dallas Mavericks have a pretty tricky road ahead of them on which direction that they want to go. If the Miami Heat is adamant on getting Anthony Davis, the trade package would have to look something like that. Maybe you could change the 2026 first round pick for a later first round pick. That way you have consecutive years of having first round picks, but I truly do believe if the Dallas Mavericks make any type of trade with the Heat, we got to get Kellawware back in that package. Anthony Davis does make about $52 million. So that’s a big lot. I mean that is a lot of salary that you have to absorb. Norman Pal and Terry Rosier both being on expiring contracts. Maybe you flip them. Maybe you let them walk in the offseason and you go about your merry way. Let me know what you think in the comment section down below. Do you like my trade package or is there a better trade package from the Heat that you can come up with? Let me know in the comment section. We could talk about it. But that’s all I got for guys today. Thank you for watching the video. Make sure to check out our Twitter and Discord links in the description below. And as always, y’all take care. Drink water. Peace.

I saw one between the Mavs, Hawks and Suns…that looked pretty good.
Your trade proposal is actually a good one, I love Ware and norman would add so much needed scoring when the offense gets stagnant. It would also be the nba's first ever Powell swap
Just because a team lost all their future first round picks was never a reason to destroy Dallas's awesome current potential in the vague hopes of getting some rookie
RetardLogic
We can’t trade Danny G, he’s our only decent big left, other than AD
Without Luka, Lively is not as good and is injury prone. Keep Gafford and trade Lively. But if you wanted to trade Gafford to the Lakers I wouldn't cry
i actually love that trade package, we get a young center that spaces the floor. Then we get powel who can get us a solid 18-22 ppg
I'm willing to let go ANY of the bigs for Ware tbh
Yall hate Nico but love the players he brought in yall slow asf was yall fans in the 80s and 90s cause some of yall fake asf just slow NICO was right to trade that crybaby ssa bih real shit special yes but he will never win a championship then what! Lmao he is not like Dirk at all got Rick to quit think about that!
Well… I have seen enough to say that maybe the idea is to shut Davis down and keep him healthy, bring Kyrie back slowly… pay Davis his money. That may allows us to be in the lottery and keep Kyrie and Davis for next year. And we get the best of everything. Have Davis and Irving finish their career in Dallas. I don't know, I think I am scared of trades now
Ware is dope! Going to be a problem. Definitely better than lively!
Dog!!! I saw a dog!!! 🥰🥰
You had me at trading Dwight Powell
Common man, dont trade our MVP!! Seasons change but you know Powell will be with us! jkjk, sounds like a good trade package to me
It’s funny when other teams mention mavs it’s about cooper and are centers , well funny part is are centers are the biggest* liability ever
I would trade gafford and lively and just get it over already ,wait on ad market until the last week
NOOOOO! Not Dwight! No way we ever part ways with the soul of our franchise!!! (Would rather give Gafford, Caleb, or Hardy for some more picks, but not Dwight!!!) (/semi-irony off)
Here we go with the BS. I got baited again. Bye 👋🏾✌🏾
Trade gafford buddy value is going down the drain
Waive Exum and lively
(Apparently Nico ruined you (bs<~ Lively get you a lawsuit ,I guess before you’re drop from the nba get another million I guess)
Was Nico Harrison' actually fired? Hear me out; What have the Mavs done since he was let go? Have they made any moves outside of the framing he left with? If I'm a Sr Manager at a corporation and I do horrible enough to get canned wouldn't the company take corrective actions to fix the mess I caused? Have the Mavs done any of that?
If traded AD would you do a 3 team trade with Hawks & Nets to get MPJ, with Hawks giving most assets to Nets and Mavs give Martin? MPJ is a top 10 wing……. Him, Cooper, PJ & you add Kyrie that is an offensive nightmare…
Do it especially with Powell part of the package.
Absolutely love this
We need to keep Powell be is a part of the Mavs and the Mavs is biased on loyalty
Mavs need to rebuild now because it’s going to happen one way or another. I agree that you don’t have to blow everything up because we have a solid young core but this draft is too top heavy to avoid the talent there. The Mavs need to take this opportunity to pair Flagg with another top talent.
Ware, Powell, and FRP…? You’re hi brotha.
Never trade DP
Miami isn't giving up Kel'el Ware. A team I'm surprised I haven't seen mentioned yet as a potential suitor for AD is Philly.
It may seem absurd and I don't know how the salary works out, which is how I think you built this trade, but I'm asking for Herro and Ware. And if I can't get Herro, I want Vasquez.
That pelicans pick is the move. I want Risacher/Porzingis plus that pick trade. Draft in the top 5. Move Klay and Gaff for future picks
Isn’t Terry Rozier under criminal investigation?
