I really want to be positive about this team, but I really feel like he stands out so much because everyone else is so invisible. I won’t take too much away from Stecher, he’s done well to come here and play well, but literally everyone else needs to step up a lot.

I watched him last night as he was exiting the zone with the puck, he got to the neutral zone, left his team behind and I actually thought to myself, “He’s trying too hard sometimes. Let the game come to you.”
I have become self aware and realize that I too am the problem. It’s just a shock to see someone with urgency and effort lately.

I had a chance to meet Troy at this year’s Blue & White event. Really nice, humble dude. We talked for a good 10 minutes and he just seemed very genuine in conversation with a ‘fan’. Same goes for Lorentz. Both really nice guys.
Unfortunately I think this says more about the Leafs than it does about Stecher
