you know, to kind of sit in that loss for a couple days and go through practice. Just how have you reflected on that performance as a group, but then tried to maybe put that in the rear view with with the work these last two days? >> Um, yeah. Um, you know, a lot of us have been in this league and it’s been the first time really that you know, you get 10 days with only two games. So, you know, usually just fortunate enough to have a game right after, you know, a type of performance like that. But, like you said, we had to um sit on this one for for a couple days. And, um, honestly, I think the result of that was, you know, being able to to focus and really, you know, pinpoint what’s been, you know, going on, you know, what we want to work on. And, um, I think the last today and last practice was like one of our best practices kind of before, um, the the Boston game. So, um, we’re very high spirited. We’re very we’re ready um to play tomorrow for sure. >> How were these practices beneficial? How do you think they >> um just time, you know, um I always say, you know, having time together um getting reps together will always solve a lot of things. Um especially just experience, you know, experience in um sets, schemes, um you know, bumping, you know, playing fives, all those things is is the opportunity we have with these days. And um we took full advantage of it. And um I think we’re just more confident going into to next game uh with these days. >> Kind of said like, “Hey, I got to get this team realized like you’re not good enough to have trap games.” Like you’re 11 and 16, you got to have five that level. Um I’m curious, how do you guys feel like maybe you can capture that desperation, urgency, whatever you want to call it a little bit more for you. >> Um yeah, I mean, um Doc said it right. Um, I think if you put us against the best teams, we probably gonna win majority of those games. And um, you know, most of our losses came from like games we’re supposed to win. And I’m saying we’re supposed to because, you know, that’s what we’ve been the last couple years. Um, when I came over here, it’s always been about winning. And we wanted to, you know, be about winning still. Um, so yeah, he said it. He said it um, you know, right on the nail. Like we got to go out um, desperate um, you know, just like it’s just like we came out against Boston, we got to come out the same way against a team like Brooklyn. Um, give them that respect of being an NBA team and handle business. >> You guys, and to your point, I mean, there’s wins over the Knicks, the healthy Warriors with or without without Detroit, Boston. Um, what do you what can you pull? Is there enough to pull from those games or are the lows like I don’t want to say too low but losing to Washington and Charlotte and Brooklyn like can you what can you take from those wins that maybe supersede what happened in those losses? >> Um yeah I think um I think when you when you line it up like that um it’s just a old old rule like you know you can’t play to your the level of the competition. Um, you know, I’ve I’ve been in high school where, you know, we were supposed to blow a team out by 40 and we ended up losing by 40 because we came in sleepwalking and, um, you know, it happens at every level, obviously. You know, last game it happened to us. Uh, we came in sleepwalking and we got our bus handed to us. And, um, I think that’s what it is. just like I said, just preparing to to to really handle business no matter, you know, who we facing out there, no matter, you know, what what challenges or our motivation, you know, we give um individually are as a group. Like as a group, every night we got to be who we were, you know, against, you know, all the top teams versus when we play, you know, guys that or teams that we feel like we should, you know, blow out or win. How do you improve that focus and make sure you’re at your best? >> I mean, shoot. Um, I don’t think there’s many losses in NBA history like the one that we just had um last game. So, I think I think a loss like that wakes you up. Um, and you don’t never want to be on the end of that stick. And, um, the days having those days and really being having to sit on that loss definitely makes it worse. So, I think we all had an eye opener and um we’re ready to make sure that don’t happen again. >> One of the things about is you guys maybe not executing as well as we like getting the play, turnovers, whatever it be. How do you feel like you guys have gotten better at that maybe more used to it without Jiannis out there? >> Um yeah, I think um you know when you try you just try trying things, you know, Giannis go down, I come back, I’m out. like there’s a lot of things where we had to kind of try things at the at the start and um I think Doc and the guys are are are agreeing to kind of settle it down and simplify things for us and um it’s been it’s been uh good um you know just having a a scheme and identity no matter what five is on the court uh has helped a lot. So, you know, just simplifying, you know, the offense and um you know, trusting trusting our defense still and, you know, putting effort with with everything is, you know, what we need to do every day. So, >> from your vantage point, is there like a pregame ritual or something that you guys do, whether it’s communication or a hype that you feel has worked for you in those games that you did find success? Because you talked about just you guys coming together and having these days together. I’m just curious if there’s something pregame that also helps you get into the safe mindset. >> Um, I mean, yeah. Um, the guys, you know, at least me being in the league for a little bit, everyone has their own kind of regimen, uh, you know, rituals, but, you know, when it’s time, we we come in, you know, we huddle up and we we feed off of our energy. So, really, it’s just individually, everyone has their regimen, you know, making sure spiritually we’re right to to come together and then when we come together, we feed off of, you know, everyone. And um you can just see the difference when we’re home and we really want you know we really want to win or we really want to prove something versus when you know we feel like we should win and um it’s just a total different you know energy and um our energy everyone’s contagious in here like we feed off of each other like I said so we just got to right make sure you know we come with the right spirit um every night out >> and then Doc he’s said a lot of times you’re a natural leader you’ve been very communicative with his team even when you weren playing from your standpoint, where do you see yourself as a leader and how do you feel like it’s helping your team? Um yeah, I think um you know I’ve have experience um you know playing you know to start playing the PG um starting um for a season and had a have some up and downs in my career where you know I’ve came back and I’ve showed growth and I think um you know that that gives confidence to my guys to you know like Scoot know he been through some things like let’s let’s um you know let’s follow And um for me, you know, that just gives me I I’ve always been a natural, you know, kind of leader um growing up. So, it’s no surprise to me. But I’m happy that my guys um as young as I am and uh as um you know, my story is is out there. But I’m just happy that they’re able to to will me in and um be with me for for real. It’s dope. It’s a dope position to be in.

The herd has more wins than the bucks lol
Same old story
Giannis ain't going nowhere 🎉🎉
This is your SG not PG.
The thing is, it shouldn’t matter who we play, 110% effort is a minimum if you don’t wanna lose
Hope we can keep my boy KPJ
