Wow. Edmonton is the first franchise ever with 5 players to get 1000 points.
A damn shame history didn’t fall a different way with Hank Pav and Sergei. Hank and Pav both easily could’ve hit that mark with a few more playing years here and Sergei did break 1000 just not in Detroit.
Ahh well life’s full of whatifs and I’m sure other teams are in a similar boat with some of their all time greats.

It’s definitely annoying they threw away yet another winnable game but they looked cooked last night.
Utah also played a back to back but the Wings looked awful.
This has happened the last few years maybe strength and conditioning needs to be addressed at some point.
I hope the team is getting some much needed rest.

Not a whole lot to be happy about with that game, but man, how great is it to have some confidence when they take a penalty?
Saw an article linking Chicago – Connor Murphy to Detroit. His time on ice per game average is under 12 minutes. Anyone else concerned with that?
