Josh Allen had just about won that game but Offense came in clutch in the end. Allen has not played a defense like ours this year.
Interesting part would be how important the eagles think the two seed is versus the three, because if they went out and the bears dropped one they can give the two.
But we need to beat the bills to keep it going
The Jets winless streak against the Eagles was a much more impressive stat.
Highly dependent on what Bills team and what eagles team shows up.. both teams have had some absolutely terrible games. But both teams have had some great games… Bills more in the offensive side and eagles on the defensive side.
This sub seems to think we are going to give 110% in the Bills game but if we win this week we are virtually a lock at the 3 seed.
I would like to see us play a strong half at least and bolster the offensive identity going into the playoffs, but truly this game very likely has no implication for us. We need a healthy OL and a rested Lane, Dickerson, Jurgens. Philips hasn’t even had a bye week yet this year. Carter should get as much rest as he needs. The list goes on.
We likely don’t need a 2 week bye, but… the Bills are going to be playing harder than we should be, simply. Anyone who needs 1.5-2 game rest should get it.
It’s a real short list of QBs who have beaten all 31 teams except the team they exclusively played for. Mahomes obviously hasn’t beaten the Chiefs and Roethlisberger never beat the Steelers. That’s the entire list of one franchise guys. Can throw in Elway and Bradshaw from when the league was smaller as well. Aaron Rodgers hasn’t beaten the Packers and Russell Wilson hasn’t beaten the Seahawks, the teams they each primarily played for, but they’ve had opportunities to do so and they’re not single franchise guys. And Matt Stafford is only one team away from 32, but randomly it’s the Steelers, a team he’s never played for (he is 0-3 against them).
The Bills will win, because Nick’s going to sit the starters after they clinch the NFC East this weekend.
Josh Allen is superhuman, but he does make a couple mistakes per game. The Bills defense is average at best as well. Definitely a winnable game for the Eagles.
It’s gonna be which coach can out-stupid the other.
He didn’t lose to Jalen, he lost to our defense. Picture in circle should be one of our defense stars.
