Maple Leafs Stun Blackhawks With Two Goals In Eight Seconds To Take Late Lead
Face off win by Dickinson. Mahan had IT STOLEN. THEY SCORE. MATTHEWS on the power play and this game is all even. Well, I may have doesn’t make many mistakes killing penalties and this one. The puck just gets away from him. The Blackhawks win a key draw. They bump it back to McKay. And now, you know, it it got poked off his stick. Wyatt Kaiser was tied up with one of the other Toronto Maple League players. And that’s William Knander and he actually bunts it out. So, McKay, I take that back. That’s not really a mistake by him. That’s just an unfortunate stick by William Knander right to Austin Matthews. That’s his fifth goal in the last eight games. And Austin Matthews, the captain of this team, has tied it late. >> [music] >> Matthews first shot of the night >> ties this game at two with three minutes left and they score seconds later. Joshua makes it 3-2. 8 seconds after they tied it up. Well, right off the jaw. Watch number 81 who’s on the right side of the screen right now. Unfortunately, it’s Crevier who gets beaten to the puck. Watch number 46. Yeah, he’s coming back. I don’t think he even thinks Joshua was behind him. He thinks he’s going to pick up this loose puck, but he knew he was there. He just got out battled by Joshua. An uncharacteristic big rebound by Spencer Knight. That doesn’t happen to him very often. It comes right out to Joshua. He beats [music] his check. And just like that, the Leafs have a lead. [music]
Watch as Toronto Maple Leafs’ Auston Matthews and Dakota Joshua score a pair of goals eight seconds apart to steal the lead from the Chicago Blackhawks in the dying minutes of the third period.

YEAAHHHHHH
Of course it’s the Blackhawks
The people who were caught by surprise 👇
Holy Mackinaw! What a comeback by the Leafs on Joe Bowen night!
Incorrect no one was stunned that once again we have proof this is a curated performance and not a sports league. Hawks won 3-1 without league interference
That must be a new Leafs record for fans booing, then cheering about a win in the shortest amount of time.
We need to get rid of Knight already
A ticking tack penalty got the Loafs back in this game
This must be the Chicago broadcast audio. PBP guy: "And they score?" Color guy: "f*&k"
Big comeback win.❤❤❤
PLAN THE PARADE……………….
THIS IS OUR YEAR…………………
HE CUP IS OURS BABBBBYYYYY………………..
in 1967
Chicago broadcasters were throwing shade on Austin Matthews all night 😂
What a comeback
yikes…
This was the moment the Chicago broadcasters realized they were go nowhere losers for another year.
amazing comeback!
Don’t care this team is still pathetic. They were playing a minor league team and made it cardiac
Nice play by the Leafs!
Who the F is doing the play by play?
This team is ruining my life.
was that rebound off his stick or off his pad. that was huge.
If your struggling against the Blackhawk’s without Bédard and barley win thats a red flag
Why doesn't SN upload the highlights of this game?
Is it less interesting when Leafs win?
Is it cause Slow-Mo #44 didn't have great moment?
Does sponsorship revenue decrease when other DF than #44 perform well?
For any Chicago fans watching first goal if anyone Ilya's fault could have protected it better. 2nd goal definitely Knight's fault, dman wanted it in the corner not directly behind him in the slot lol
lol "unfortunate stick by william nylander" tf is this guy on about
While I don't disagree that the Leafs had NO business winning that game after coming out of the gate flatter than Flat Stanley, I will say that it's not how you start, but how you finish that really matters.
EVERY game when its close, the leafs get a powerplay in the last 5 minutes
Matthews goal was not worth $13.25M or any celebration for the way he plays now. There are 40 year olds in the NHL in far better shape than him.
