I truthfully do understand why some fans come to his defense no matter what. He’s the franchise GOAT and we watched him grow up….but he is 100% handling this terribly and it makes him look worse than if he just came out and asked to be traded.

Call me an idiot but I believe him. If he really wants out then when did this start? If you say at the start of the season he wanted out then why did he shut down all the Knicks rumours? If it was after the wizards loss then I ask if you really think he’s that reactionary to start trade rumors after a loss that could literally happen to any team. At most I think he just wants to remind and motivate his teammates, coaches and front office.

I honestly thought he was going to get traded on the 15th. I expect it to be any day. Especially if this is a multi-team deal, it could be very complicated, which is why it’s taking so long.
I don’t know whether it’s purposeful or not but him (or his agent whatever) doing this does really increase the value of the 31 pick.
