Standing up and cheering during the games is a good thing actually

  1. I think its good but also people need to be somewhat mindful to the people around then at a certain point too

  2. I enjoy being an actual fan. Cheering loud, standing etc. For some reason it’s cool to not show emotion and be a typical reserved midwesterner. Overseas you see games with the whole stadium cheering and jumping around and I appreciate that level of fandom. Just my feelings.

  3. Controversial take maybe? You paid for the seat you can do what you want in it. I don’t want to have to think all game about what I should or shouldn’t do based on my perception of what others want.

  4. It’s okay if it’s for less than 30 seconds. I was at a playoff game a few years back, my dad wanted to attend a playoff game as he barely has ever seen Timberwolves games. And all the 20 somethings in our section stood the ENTIRE game. My dad is nearly 80 and can’t just stand for nearly 3 hours straight. So he basically couldn’t watch because the people in our section refused to sit. And I even was shouting encouraging our section to sit down lol. Standing for a prolonged time is highly inconsiderate

  5. It’s the whole point of going to games. I will stand and shout every time there is a big time 3 in the clutch, i don’t care who I’m with or who I’m bothering. I’m repping my team

  6. The best sporting events are when you can stand the entire game. For a playoff game, nobody should be sitting.

  7. i go to a lot of games and i get up a lot when the wolves are on a heater, but i try to be mindful of giving the people behind me an angle as the plays are developing. but oh my lord has the target center been bad to start the year. tons of casual fans, people with sour faces even when we are winning, no one is standing or getting hype or high-fiving. my section used to be so loud but it seems like a lot of the diehards moved seats or aren’t coming to the games as much. if you like the wolves and read this, I’m sure there are cheap tickets to pretty much every game. come cheer the team on and overwhelm the tide of Minnesota sad sacks populating the crowd.
