Im torn. If we werent saddled with slaytons contract extending WR would be a no brainer.
Hes not going to have this kind of production when Nabers is back. But man he would be a great slot option with them both there. Its just a lot of 3 WR.
Maybe we can for a 3 year deal as slaytons contract will be over before a nabers extension.

I like Wandale a lot and want him on the giants but when you have a guy like Nabers, decided to pay Slayton, you cant sign him too. A good GM should be able to find slot WRs in the draft to get production from.

I mean he’s probably just a really good WR3, ok WR2 right? Not worth paying when we’ll have Nabers and ideally draft a new WR2 in April

He’s going into his age-25 season so any team gets him for his prime. Meyers’s will be going into his age-30 season and got $60 million.
Pickens and Pierce are similar ages and will get paid. Robinson is probably at Pierce’s level so they’ll both be looking to cash in

Good. He deserves it. He’s on pace for 140 catches and over 1K yards. He’s a great little guy to have around and he’ll be especially dangerous with Nabers back. Pay him. We gotta start keeping our good players and developing them. Hopefully there’s an early out in Slayton’s contract.
I don’t want to see another good player we drafted walk in free agency. If you look at what other WR are getting paid it’s tough to put him with the other names getting 20m+ per year. He’s not a true #2 and doesn’t offer anything in the return game. As much as I don’t want the Giants to overpay the WR room would be ugly if it’s headlined by Nabers and Slayton.
He’s your favorite reciever’s favorite receiver. Guy is one of the best in the NFL at route running.
And he should. He’s a talented short yardage receiver who wasted his early career with the giants. Dart has finally found consistency with him sadly late into his tenure
