[Noah Weber] Cooper Flagg: “Loyalty has always been a big thing for me, and I think it’s just being where my feet are. I’ve loved every minute of being here…I feel like I’m living the dream…Everyone here in Dallas has been so amazing, so I’d be foolish not to want to be here for as long as I can…”

Man, we are so blessed
If any stupid front office decision were to somehow occur again in the future, I’m going where he goes this time. Been watching his highlights since Duke and he somehow managed to land on our team
Despite the best efforts of management we really are blessed
The boogeyman is gone. He’s not here to trade him to LA
He’s going to say what he needs to not take any heat; mark my words that boy is gone.
“Whatever happens; happens” is an interesting quote he just said 👀
I love that for Coop
Tbh, Im not really a Mavs fan. Im a big time Luka fan since the draft then a Cooper fan since his Duke days. Please Mavs, stop wasting generational talents that love their fans and the city. Ya’ll deserve it after Nico
Concerns me that loyalty goes a long way for him. We kinda blew that out of the water less than a year ago.
Just make sure the next GM doesn’t have ties to any of the usual suspects (LA, Boston, NYC, etc) or ***recommended*** by Adam Silver again
He’s coming home to Boston eventually but take care of him for us til then 💚
FO better not fuck this up again.
I respect his loyalty even more considering the shit show he walked into.
He’s taking pride in being the light at the end of the tunnel for a heartbroken fanbase.
I don’t see the Adelmans doing the same shit they’ve done to Luka, they now know what trading the face of your team do to the fans.
lol dude probably has Mavs fans begging him to stay all the time now. We’re traumatized from our last relationship
I love Coop. Dallas fans are the most loyal. It still grinds my gears that Luka couldn’t stay, but hey you never know what could happen when his contract with that team out west expires. Those Lakers fans don’t have the same loyalty and love for their team or players as Dallas does.
Why am I watching a clip of Zubac trade talks in this op? 😂
I guess he’s recovered and regained hope
There was that two game stretch where his utilization was low and a bunch of redditors here said that in five years he would be a Celtic because we weren’t doing enough to make him rookie of the year.
I like this kid. He’s gonna be rock solid for us. I just wish we had some draft capital to build with
Loyalty never fades away (unless traded)
Not to sound overly dramatic, but this kid is single-handedly carrying this fanbase out of the abyss lol. We are so fortunate to have him.
Still early days, but he’s going to be just as beloved here as Dirk and Luka were.
