These are real texts all the way from 2020 to this morning of my Uncle who is a lakers fan telling me Giannis would leave the Bucks for the lakers.

Just in case yall want a laugh. It's especially funny because I told him to stop doing this years ago. Also he's not trolling, he really is this delusional.

I'm not even gonna respond to the one he sent this moring.

  4. Obviously it’s possible Giannis demands out at some point, but the current hype is pretty much exactly what’s happened every time before.

    People selectively clip what Giannis says, overreact to normal things they don’t understand, and outright make shit up.

    “Giannis deleted all Bucks posts from social media”. (No, he didn’t)

    “Giannis said his agent is talking to the team about a trade and he has no control over that”. (No, he didn’t).

    Anyone that watched Gianni’s’ whole presser yesterday would know that he *if anything was downplaying the trade rumors, and didn’t say anything that reasonably suggests he’s pushing for a trade. But if you just watched a 60 second clip or read a headline that cuts off half his answer – you’d have a very different idea.

  7. I enjoy giving my cousin a hard time too regarding his dual fandom (Spurs and Celtics). I remember back in 2014, it was our cousin’s wedding and while we were waiting in the hotel room, I switched the tv on to the NBA channel and the featured game happened to be his spurs vs the lakers.

    I practically cheered for the Lakers every time they scored (just to rub it in), while he would do the same for the spurs in retaliation. Ultimately the game went to OT and Nick Young ended up being the unlikely hero who won it for LA, but at some point we were shushed quiet by the mother of the bride lol. It was a really good–back and forth–fun game, especially for me who had no dog in the fight lmao.

  8. It is so fucking weird how people actively want Giannis to leave Milwaukee and use it as a way to antagonize Bucks fans. But then they’ll turn around and give Mavs fans a shoulder to cry on after Luka was traded.

    Not sure what the Bucks fan base did to the NBA. Maybe they just hate basketball being played in midwestern cities.

  9. At the end of the day, Gianni’s agent is talking to the team and other teams about a trade. That came out of his mouth, not ours. Like he said, his agent works for him. If his agent is talking about a trade, it’s because his client either requested it or told him to see what’s out there. This isn’t hard to comprehend because as Giannis said, his agent works for him. All this bullshit can be put aside and squashed if Giannis wanted it squashed. It’s hurting The Milwaukee Bucks and I’m sick and tired about hearing about it. If you wanna leave, do it. Obviously we all want him here but this drama side step answer bullshit is now hurting us and it needs to stop. Giannis can stop it in 1 sentence so this team can move on. If Giannis’s agent is talking about trades, it’s because Gianni’s wants the fuck outta here. Period.

    Are you locked in Giannis? Then stop the god damn drama and tell the media you are committed and staying. Be our leader and stop this bullshit.
