POST-RAW | Kris Knoblauch 12.18.25

Chris, uh, you guys had one goal on the power play, one goal short-handed, and one goal at industry. Does that kind of symbolize the well-roundedness effort of your group tonight? >> It was nice to contribute every way. Um, you know, the get the power play goal, you know, that’s usual. They’re pretty good at doing that. The short-handed goal, obviously. Um, you know, McDavid makes a nice play to get the to put the puck in the net, but it starts with uh nooch the patience, the pass that he made to set that up. Um, so and then um the probably the highlight of tonight was Hudson getting his first goal and you know playing that fourth line minutes. Uh him and Jones didn’t play very much but they played really well. >> Yeah, it’s hard for those guys like the first especially Hudson. He’s a first line player in Beo when he comes up here and he’s a fourth line player. He’s not getting much time. Is it do you try to afford him some opportunity? Maybe find him a way to show what he’s got. >> It’d be uh you know different different circumstances. Um you know the special teams at the end of the game, the power play, the uh the penalty kills that we had in the third period. Um and also defending with the lead being a little bit different if we needed to um score a goal um to give them small opportunities. But we’re trying to get some some shifts. Uh but um yeah, I I think he’s earned him and I think he’ll get a little more responsibilities as we go move forward. >> How about Jerry’s situation with Jar? >> Uh we’ll see. I’m not sure how serious it is, but um yeah, but no updates. >> Maybe just talk about the importance of your special teams uh to your recent success, especially here tonight, the two big kills in the third. >> Yeah, that was uh huge. Obviously, we gave up the first one uh but then after that we made some nice kills and um were able to um especially late in the game and we’ve seen that a lot lately. Uh where we needed a big kill in the third period and they they’ve come up and been able to deliver. >> And how about Calvin Ker? Not an easy situation for >> No, I thought we were I thought we were pretty airtight um defensively. I didn’t think we gave up very much early in the game and then as soon as he went in that’s when the chances started rolling in and um he was uh he had to make some big saves uh you know probably three really big time saves late in the second period and then a couple more in the third especially on the penalty Two.

  1. No one mentioned that the number one phrase commented by announcers
" here comes BOUCHARD. And he gave it away. BOUCHARD lost the puck"

Heard that at least 5 times through 60 mins.

Crickets.. When do we call this nonsense out as a consistent problem…..

Now seems good…. Good game after Picks took over.
