  1. Why are baseball players so religious? No judgement, I’ve just noticed how overtly outspoken so many players are about their faith. I’m sure its not just baseball, it’s probably all athletes, but I only really follow baseball.

  2. I honestly just don’t want to know about any player’s religion. It just not pertinent.

  3. when mclean made his debut i made the mistake of looking at his twitter account, scrolled down a bit dude had the picture of trump after he got shot i was like yeeeee bro never going thru another players twitter again lol

  4. I’m fine with people in the public sphere using the platforms provided to promote what they find personally helpful/inspiring and all that, but it’s also such an easy way to generate animosity amongst fans, especially when it concerns religion/politics.

  5. i genuinely don’t understand how people are drawing the line between opting out from useless forced patriotism and finding ultra religious people to be annoying.

  6. If Jesus was real and the words attributed to him in the christian bible are accurate, then he’d probably be real sick of the virtue-signaling and self-aggrandizement these American Protestant fundamentalists engage in. You think any of these halfwits with their John 3:16 and their Psalm 69 and whatever could quote you Matthew 5:5-6? Probably not. Jesus (per the bible, at least) quite literally tells his followers to shut the fuck up and pray in private and not to be showy about your piety in public. But don’t expect a Christian to actually know anything about their religion. They have faith, so they don’t need things like reading comprehension or germ theory.

  7. Jesus has turned on Nimmo and cursed him with plantar fasciitis. Nolan McLean is the new prophet of Christ.
