Two of the humblest guys in their star stratification. Allen is a legit superstar and on a HOF or at least Hall of Very Good trajectory yet he remains humble, great with the fans and doesn’t throw his teammates under the bus.
Ernie is a grit player who knows his role and plays some great defense while also having some pop in his bat. He gives off such “fun geek/nerd” energy that has made me love him so much. Watching him have the autumn of all autumns made me so happy.
