Wizards Lose Big To The Spurs… Alex Sarr Shines in Return

Good evening, Wizards Nation. We lost big. Yeah, we did. We lost big. We lost by 25 points to the San Antonio Spurs 119 to 94. Granted, we were in the thick of it till the third quarter. We were actually down by one point at half, but then the second half collapse came. Same old story. We’ve been here. Wash, rinse, repeat, however the hell you want to say it, dude. Um, at one point, let me put chat up real quick. At one point though, our draft class from last year, Keshan George, Alex Sar, and Bub Carrington, I like to say at halftime, even more, like like four minutes into the third quarter, it was looking nice. Those are the primary dudes who are keeping us in the game and we’re just like, “Oh, all right. Bet.” Look, the draft class came to play. Bob Carrington, another solid game. He’s back. [sighs] You beat me to it. I ran out of ideas. But Balo’s offense is non-existent. Alexar Bal Kabali, the baguettes are back in town. Star is the only one who showed up tonight. Uh, obviously I’m not trying to talk that ish about Balo, but I mean, let’s just be honest, man was nonexistent, especially on the offensive end. Alex, whoever, uh, I know y’all saw that block he had on WBY and then immediately after went for a fast break dunk. Believe that was early in the third quarter. again. I’m I am on Buff stream, so I’m watching the opponents uh announcers. Everybody’s glazing Alex, Alexar, the star. Everybody’s starting to recognize around the NBA that this man’s a bonafide stud. Balak Kabali on the other hand, a work in progress, but I’m not counting out Balo. But still, it was it was it was frustrating, man. Uh, Young Mel says, “The dreaded third quarter again.” Completely agree. This just just this is just the same old thing. Like the same old story of the entire year, man. Uh, let [snorts] me turn this thing on real quick. So, I hate that I got to do this every single beginning of the stream. Yeah, dude. If you enjoy this stream, please like and subscribe. Yeah, man. Let’s go ahead and let’s go to the stats. Uh, let’s go to the freaking stats. Oh, my bad. I already had it here. Kean George man in the first quarter. I believe he got nine points. Man was getting to the mid-range at will using his frame, his size. I was just like, “All right, bet. This is the key from early on in the season.” Uh the key against the Mavs early on in the season with 30 plus points. Finishes with 11. nine points in the first quarter, I believe it was, or yeah, nine or seven. Finishes with 11. Uh, I’m not mad at him because you see shades. You see glimpses of just like, all right, dude. You know what I mean? I’m just like with Keith, the main thing with him is just like his aggressiveness. This man’s too too unselfish. He’s the complete opposite of those like Tristan Bochevich and K Whitmore, you know, but his three-point shot wasn’t falling. Man, was all four from a three. But like you see like in the beginning of the game like this is a guy who like I if if this guy is not, you know, I if he is just a bit selfish, is he an all-star? Sometimes you got to be selfish in life. If you want to get to where you want to get to, you got to think selfishly sometimes, you know. I was like, damn. But, you know, he got a bit cold afterwards, but you know, like just the way he did it. Anyways, Alexar, 18 points in 24 minutes. The man is back. Eight of 18, two of four from the three. Uh, granted just four rebounds, uh, three three assists, one block. Um, McCullum was off tonight. Bub Carrington was, you know, continuing his solid play. I’d like to say this is what, his fifth or sixth straight game in a row where he has been, my bad, where he is cooking. Uh 17 points for Bob Carrington as a starter again. 17 points in 33 minutes. Uh three of seven from the three. That’s his bread and butter. Now this year he has added that to his game. The three-point shot mid-range game is coming back as well. You already see glimpses already. Not just in this game, but in the past five to six games. Like his confidence is there, dude. He is navigating to the pick and roll much more. You know, he’s not lost when he’s doing this. And also kudos to Marvin Bagley because Marvin Baggley has been a godsend to Bob Carrington this year. Marvin Bagley has made his job much easier this year for Bob Carrington. And Marvin Baggley, again, I’m going to drop a video on him tomorrow. I keep saying that all the time, but I really am. 13 points off the bench in only 19 minutes, five of six from the field. Another really solid game by Marvin Bagley. He has been on one lately. Let me read what chat got to say. Yeah, Bob is so inefficient. No, I mean, he he No, no, you you got to give him his credit tonight. You got to give Bub his credit. Shot 50% from the field and uh right underneath 40% from the three. He he did his thing tonight. Five rebounds, three assists. I want to say those assist, you know, he did his thing. Rich says, “Bala is starting to piss me off. He’s starting to piss me off, too.” Okay, I’m not gonna say piss me off. He’s starting to frustrate me. But what Balo is just like it’s about the future, you know? It’s about the future with him. But holy hell, can you chalk this up for Rust for Balao after not playing for a while? Perhaps. Yeah, of course you could. But we’ve seen this from Balo even when he’s 100% healthy. I’m not trying to give the baguette some excuses. I’m not I’m not trying to give him some excuses. We got to hold everyone to the same standard. Doesn’t matter if he was the seventh overall pick. He doesn’t matter if he was the first lottery pick in the Dawkins regime. He has to be held to the same standards as as Alex Sar, Trey Johnson, everyone else, whether you like it or not, and if you’re the biggest Balo fan or not, dude, come on. This is Is it starting to get worrisome? I’d say no. I’d say most of us already readjusted our expectations with Balao. We’re now I guess we could say we’re downgrading. We’re just like, “All right, you know, I believe like some of us thought that Bala was gonna be like, you know, a little bit more than a three and D player after his rookie year. He did shoot 34.6% from the three in his rookie year, and then the past two years has just been cheeks.” But now most of us are just like, “All right, the end goal with him is to be a 3 and D player at least. Not at least, at best. Sorry. There’s no three with him right now. I want Balo locked in the gym this entire off. I don’t want him to go play for France, dude. I don’t want him to go play for France. I want him locked in the gym the entire off season. Hopefully he does not have a freaking injury at the end of the year that you know uh portray whatever inhibits him from being in the gym. And I know he’s I know he’s going to he’s a hard worker. He’s a good kid. He has a good he has a good head on his shoulder. how the hell the boomers say, but like you know with him man now Will Dawkins got to step in and be like, “Hey man, [ __ ] LeBlé. [ __ ] France for this off season. Work on your game. This is going to be a critical offseason for Balau heading into his fourth year.” There’s your Balo rant that none of y’all wanted. Um, but I’m still I mean I mean come on. I I was thinking too like I was just like all right is Balo like obviously we want to be a glorified role player here with us. We know what he can offer on defense. We know he’s going to be one of the best like or when he’s locked in. I mean, not even locked in, but like, you know, when he’s like on, is he gonna be like a starting like a wing a starter or like a wing off the bench now? Remember when NL Alexander Walker with the Timberwolves before he went to the Hawks and now he’s wrecking. I can’t even compare to N Alexander Walker. N Alexander Walker, man shooting 38 39% from the three, but he was off the bench with the with the Timberwolves. You know what I mean? I keep comparing Balo to Jada McDaniels. I think that’s a very uh hopefully a reasonable exp, you know, a reasonable comparison with Balo. Balo can definitely guard the best offensive player on the opposing team. But man, I’m sorry. If we get or we are in position to draft Asia Debonsa, you got to take him. You’ve got to take him. If he’s the BPA, you got to take him. Doesn’t matter if we have Bala there. Move Balo to the bench then moving forward. It doesn’t matter. Or if we have Cam Whitmore. If we have all these wings, we’ll rally. I can’t, dude. Yo, who do you think has the biggest P on the Wizards [laughter] P? Coach Keefe Bub on the right track. Yes, he is. Uh, the Wizards got no F foul. [laughter] This man Doug, but [laughter] um yeah, man. That that’s nothing for Below. Uh again, tonight though, Cam Whitmore four straight DNP did not play. Uh as a matter of fact, I was because I was excited for this game tonight. I was I was like, the bigs are back in town. Um, German boy said, “Why would you read, man? I’m just reading whatever’s going on in the chat, man.” Um, my bad, though. [laughter] Damn [ __ ] Doug, you’re getting me in trouble, dude. Um, Kent Whitmore, four straight DMP. I believe he hasn’t played in what, now what, two weeks? But we barely played though due to the NBA Cup. What do y’all think about that? What do y’all think about that? I was sweating because I was just like, “Oh, we didn’t see, you know, Will Riley or Jir Watkins in the first quarter.” And I was just like, “Oh, fuck.” I mean, okay, fine. Bal’s back. He’s going to take somebody’s minutes. You know what I mean? They ended up coming in in the beginning of the second quarter and I was just like, “All right, kudos to Coach Keef. At least he’s giving them some He’s finding rotation minutes for those two young Bucks who have earned it. You know, [snorts] granted they were both a bit off tonight. Jir Watkins two points, one of three from the three. one of three from the field, 0 of two from the three. Uh same with Will Riley. Granite Jir played only eight minutes, Will Riley 17 minutes. Um to be expected though with Bel Kabali back then what’s going to happen when Middleton’s back? What’s going to happen when Cory Kper’s back? Well, people will be moved out of here. Yes, Chuck Chuck best says Will and Jir have definitely proved they belong on the court for us. Completely agree. completely agree. So that I mean honestly like we’ve all been dogging coach Keef the entire year. Lord knows I have. But at least [laughter] in this loss, I guess the positive would be that at least he’s figuring out those two dudes deserve rotational minutes moving forward and he found it for us. Kisper gets traded. I agree. I agree, Doug. Kisser gets traded. I think he’s gonna get traded, dude. Right now is the perfect time. I mean, like, you know, we we went over Kisser stats uh the last stream. 50% from the field, 40% from the three. You know, granted, he’s coming off. He’s going to come back soon. I like to think he’s going to come back by the end of this month. You know, play him a little bit in January, then ship him out. No disrespect to co uh Cory Kper, but you know, it is what it is. Like, you know, he checked the best release middle by his ass out. Um, I think we’re going to fish him out in the trade deadline to see what we can not get for him, but like his contract, you know, let’s see if if we’re gonna [snorts] Sorry. Uh, if we’re going to um the ideal trade for Cory uh for Chris Middleton would be like absorb a bad contract, you know, and then absorb a bad contract with assets attached to it. Allow the market smart trade from last year. I’m expecting us to have a me hopefully a Marcus Smart try trade this year. Uh let me get to my freaking notes. Uh let’s see here. Yeah, Trey, you know, two of nine, two of five from the three. I do with Trey, man, like he’s just too jittery sometime. I’m just like I don’t even know like his jitters, but like he’s he’s just like I feel like he’s just doing too much out there. I just want him to like, you know, stop hesitating. Just with him just just just relax, bro. >> [laughter] >> He hesitates too much. Relax. He at points like when he’s playing out there, he reminds me of Sorrow last year. He’s just like just chucking up and then like hesitating his shots and then just like dude relax. You are an elite shooter. It’s going to come. We blew it. should have gone for a local kid, Derek Queen. I mean, yeah. Um I mean, y’all know how I feel about Derek Queen. I I love Derek Queen. I wanted to trade up to get him. Um you know, but I’m happy for him, though. I’m happy that he’s balling. Uh let’s see. Let me go to my notes, man. Like I said, we’re down by seven points after the first quarter. Keshan George was wrecking in the first quarter. I thought we were going to have a big night from Key. Uh didn’t work out the way we, you know, I envisioned. Uh let’s see here. Yeah, he had six points right off the bat in the first quarter. Keshan George did. Let’s see here. And not only that, like he was just like dictating the the pace offensively like like he he he was on one and I’m just like if we get four quarters of this Keshan George Allstar allstar I’m going say I’mma put it out there on record. Allstar four quarters of first quarter Keshan George from the night which we’ve seen it before. He’s done it the entire game before. Just got to be more aggressive, bro. Second year league though. Kids dangerous. Kids dangerous. Uh let’s see here. I talked about that. Yep. Riley and Jir entered in the second quarter. Beginning of second quarter. So I guess kudos to coach Ke for that one. Uh Sar when I was watching Sar tonight, man, I was just like, dude, cuz I was pissed off whenever I watched Dylan Harper tonight. Dylan Harper ended up with what? How many of the [ __ ] [laughter] Where’s Dylan Harper, bro? 24 points and 23 minutes. I was sour. I was like, should be here. We deserved Dylan Harper, man. I was pissed. I’m not going to lie. Uh, a lot of exploitative words are coming out of my mouth. And then I was looking at Alex Sar and I was just like, well, at least we have one of them. We have one of them, a stud. the I I I I don’t think I’ve ever seen a player do as big of a jump from year one to year two, especially in Wizards in my Wizards fandom than I have with Alex Sar. Like Sar’s game, his mental, you know, his touch, his touch especially. I’m just like, holy, what 38% from the field his rookie year, he now he must be Hold on, let me pull it up. It’s like leaps and bounds different. Hold on. 51% from the field as a big man should 39 from his rookie year to 51. Look at this improvement, the efficiency, most importantly the touch. Gives Saw a playmaking point guard and he will cook. Completely agree, my completely agree. Not just Sar, everyone around. Like, you know what I mean? Like, that’s one thing with Darius Garland. I keep thinking about like, man, Darius Garland, you know, we already know about his defensive wes, but he could be like the the missing like the glue to bring, you know, make sure that everybody reaches their potential, their ceiling. You know, Bal, he could he could he could be a godsend to Bala Kabali. He could be like our version of John Wall when John Wall got everyone paid. remember that, you know, I’m not comparing John W. You know what I mean? I’m not, you know, I’m just using that as an example, but he’s nowhere in my I mean, I’m biased, of course, because, you know, I mean, John Wall, you know, my favorite player of all time with the Wizards, but I’m just saying. Anyways, we got the black back. Oh [ __ ] What the hell? [laughter] What happened? My bad. Um, let me pull up my notes real quick. I’m gonna keep this short, y’all. We’ll always say that we after the third quarter, man, it was just like what the, you know, after the third quarter, it just got after, honestly, in the third quarter, WBY came, we just got ded. We just got, it was just, it was just Webby. And not even just Wy like it was obviously Harper the entire night as well. Um but you know you know just Wy’s presence out there man only played 17 minutes. That’s all he needed. That’s all he needed. [laughter] You know uh Fox was you know iffy. I mean not iffy. He was just not not on one tonight. Six points only. Vel kept making threes. 306 from the three you know but just one’s presence in the third quarter. I need to figure out a way to how to hide chat, man. Somebody commented recently said that um I shouldn’t use chat in the video. Perhaps he’s right. I need to figure out a way to this. I got to keep this whole thing about moving chat is like annoying. I feel like the visuals are not good. I’m I’m gonna fix it though. Yeah, man. from the three. We just couldn’t make any 25% from the three did tonight. Yo, nine of 36. Granted, they were 36% from the three. Rebounding, I mean, kind of close. Didn’t get diffed in that department. um points off turnovers that points in the paint, but it was the third quarter. Third quarter, they outscored us by 12 points. Fourth quarter, nine points. Game blouses. Blouses. Wait, no, we were down by four points at halftime. My bad. I’m gonna correct myself earlier. I say we were down by one point at halftime. My bad. We were down by four points at halftime. But same old story, dude. Same old story. Uh but you know, I guess the only thing you can say is I guess like you know the draft class from last year, especially like going into the third quarter, I was just like this is like I was like they’re back. [laughter] They’re all back. Bub Carrington finally. He’s been the main one for the drive because the last day they were just been, you know, slagging behind, you know, Alex and Keshan George. Masel, we need to give him some love. Hold on. Destub, here we go. No, no, I want to see his game log. Bub, since December 2nd, 10 points, seven points, 14, 27, 11, 15. I thought it was 17 that he scored. This is 17, actually. One, two, three, four, five, six. Six. This is now his sixth. Well, uh, the game against the Sixers was a bit iffy. It was a bit iffy. Iffy. Actually, I was like to say that the game against the Hawks was his first big time like game that he was back. You know, they were like, “All right, this is the B we know.” So, fourth straight game, the month of December, he is now shooting 39% from the field, 36% from the three compared to November was 36% from the field. So, I guess, you know, and obviously, yeah, there’s more games left in December, but give him some love, man. You see him back in his groove. Bob with a little spark. Hope he get he picks it up as we move along to the season. Completely agree. Uh the don Filipino [laughter] Soy Filipino. So no, I’m not Filipino. I am Boliviano. I’m I was born here, but I’m my my parents are from Bolivia. You want my social security number two? It is two. My bad. I rock with the caps. Yeah, go caps. Um, all right. Before I end the stream, y’all, uh, let’s go to the tankathon odds because this is what we live for. This is what we This is what I live for, bro. [laughter] So, at tonight’s game, we are now 4 and 21. Hey, look. The Pelicans are on a two-game winning streak. Look at that. That’s beautiful. That’s be I love that. I love that. Pelicans are on a two-game winning streak. We are now a top or I guess yeah, we got the worst record in the entire league. Um [sighs] after the Pelicans, it’s the three-way tie with the Clippers, Pacers, Kings. The Hornets have been playing better. They’ve won in two games in a row. Conanle is wrecking. Uh, let’s see here. Yeah, man. This whole tie right here is annoying right here. This whole tie right here, the Clippers, Pacers, and Kings. Come on, man. I’m just waiting for like, you know, teams to separate themselves like us here. One for one for good luck. want one for the road right here. I [ __ ] knew it. It’s always like this, dude. It’s always like this. We always get the worst possible odds whenever I do a sim lottery. One more. All right, I’ll take it. [laughter] I’ll take it. One more. I’m going back to fifth. Watch. I knew it. See? See? What is it about us? Why we always finish last and never do this thing? loud. Um, we play we play this Saturday. Yeah, we play the Grizzlies at Memphis this Saturday and then we play the Spurs again on Sunday. Yep. So, I got the calendar right here. Uh, the Grizzlies have actually been playing much better as of late. The Grizzlies, I believe, are seven and two. Uh, I read a stat today. Seven-2 in the past nine games, something like that. Um, so yeah, for those tenthon odds or tankathon dudes out there, the Grizzlies are looking much more legit. They’re actually in a two-game winning streak right now. So, and it’s at Memphis, so you know, uh, then the Spurs come to town on the 21st. I actually want to go to this game. Commanders play on the 20th. Maybe I should go to the Spurs game. Huh? Is anyone going to the Spurs game this Sunday? Can I actually go live at Capital One after the game? Is that even feasible? My service always sucks though whenever I’m leaving Capital One though. I’m not going to lie. I have AT&T. I don’t know. Why is AT&T that bad? [snorts] I might go to the Spurs. I mean, I want to see the obviously or the Whiz Kids, but I also want to see WBY. I haven’t seen WBY yet. Dude, I was thinking this earlier. I was just like one of my biggest fears is like I go to a Wizards game and I’m not trying to like [ __ ] self granite. I don’t give a [ __ ] about myself, you know, but like and then like cuz I’ve made videos talking is about Ted Leon’s making fun of his robotic son and how he charges us all this. But I don’t like Ted Leon. I’m not a big fan. I’m not a big fan. I don’t like Tedons. And I was like, what happens like if I’m like checking in and then they’re like, “Oh, you you can’t go in.” I was like, “What the [ __ ] Why not?” And he was like, “No, you got [ __ ] receipts of you talking that is boy.” I be like, “What do you mean? I’m not.” And then I’m banned. You see, I’m an overthinker, but at the same time, I wouldn’t hold it past Ted. He’s banned dudes before. I remember, I don’t know if y’all remember, like there he there was this Wizards reporter on Twitter named Neil the Law, I believe. Shout out to that guy. He was a good dude. I actually I enjoyed his coverage. And then um he had one criticism about the Wizards, I believe, on Twitter. one criticism and I believe it was about a billboard if I’m I’m not mistaken and then immediately after that was posted Ted Leon has stripped away his credentials and he was no longer eligible to be a Wizards reporter. Do y’all remember that? It was a big thing that happened on Wizards Twitter. That’s another reason why I don’t I that’s why I don’t mess with Ted Leons’s dude. I I I see I love Will Dawkins. Will Dawkins is the man I this Will Dawkins right now has over surpassed Adam Peters in my opinion [laughter] but you know like it’s weird because Adam Peters at least delivered an NFC championship game to us but not looking good right now. But I don’t know I something about Will Dawkins man I’m just like you know this man can draft his ass off. The only pick right now that’s looking a little bit is the Balo, but even then I think Bal I have full faith in Balo. Chuck the best says, “Yeah, they pulled his credentials.” Yeah, I didn’t like that. That was that was a complete jackass move by Ted Leonis. I I didn’t like that at all. I didn’t like that at all. What the hell? What? You can’t give constructive criticism to the team you cover? What the hell? What What What is this? What type of authoritarianship? What What is this? >> [laughter] >> Well, bro, what if that happens to me, bro? Then I can never see the wizards again. But it is what it is. See, I’ll be on buff streams for the foreseeable future. I can’t I can’t give my money to this [ __ ] Anyways, I gotta stop ranting, but um you know, all right, y’all. I’mma call it quits. Damn, it’s 30 minutes. Go Wizards. Tonight was uh tonight has um I don’t feel like the score is a complete indicator of ah it looked really nice for like the first three and a half quarters and then boom. You know what I mean? But um Nomatic Brian says, “I’m looking in the mall for my Wizards gift for having to deal with the tank.” No, Ted Lea should be paying us 20 bucks a month to watch this team. He got the money. He Bro, I want that stemi monthly from Ted Leons. That stemi better hit my bank account every 20 bucks a month from him and it’s not that much of us right now. Let’s just be honest. A good core 40 of us, you know what I mean? Religiously watching this game, Twitch 20 bucks a month. Like, you know what I mean? That’s going to be like what, $800 a month from the freaking payroll? Come on. Yep. Just give me 20, you know, it’s just like I guarantee those those the viewership right now has gone has tanked. [laughter] I because these viewers that they don’t count the viewership from buff streams or med streams or crack streams, you know what I mean? I guar and I hope I hope it [ __ ] hope it gives him heartburn, boy. [laughter] I don’t like this man. I don’t f with him at all, man. I don’t I don’t [snorts] I love Josh Harris, but Ted Leian is not it, man. Not it. Not it for me. For Caps fans, maybe y’all’s different. Maybe it’s different. You know what I mean? Because the Caps have had success. Shout out to the Capitals. But for us, can’t fade with that. Final comment of the day goes to Chuck Best. He says, “If you are paying to watch this team, I salute you.” If you are paying to watch this team, that means you got money to blow. I should be paying to watch this team because I actually quote unquote cover this team. >> [laughter] >> I don’t know if I’m actually covering this now. I’m just reacting. All right. Uh I’m gonna call it quits, y’all. Take care, everybody. Uh I will see y’all on Sunday. Oh, Saturday against the Grizzlies. Um all right, y’all. Peace. Take care. Oh, yeah. Like and subscribe if you enjoy the stream. Uh Wizards shout out one more comment. Wizards shout out be on the WB like they used to. Public asses games. Come on. Yes, home team, man. Come on. It’s home team. I completely agree. Wizards are a painful, bro. Man, I’ve been having abdomen pain lately. I kind of, you know what I mean? I kind of feel like it’s because I I’ve been working on my abs a lot lately, but part of me wants to blame it on the wizards. I actually went to the I went to urgent care about it. I don’t know if this is TMI. I was like, “Bro, my ab hurt.” She’s like, “What have you been doing lately?” I almost spilled out. Been watching every single Wizards game. No, but I was like, you know what? Let me just be honest. I’ve been doing my ab workouts too much. [laughter] You know what I mean? I think I [ __ ] up my abs, bro. Man, this team, boy. But we got to stick together. We got to stick together in the future. We got this. All right. Yo, I’mma call it streams. I mean, I call it a stream.
