YAY, WELCOME BACK
WHAT??

But what’s the return
Bienvenue à la maison
Fuck them picks
The return of pizza Phill
Damn. Solid bottom 6 depth add.
Dont mind what they have up at all
2nd round pick is probably the best. I mean he has a 5M contract. But we’re at a phase where we can still absorb that. LA didn’t have the leverage, because it was publically known Phi wanted out.
For a 2nd? Good stuff.
I thought he was shit these days?
C’est ça le prix que j’étais prêt à payer. Aucun joueur ni prospect. Un autre Went Wughes.
Welcome back, here it is.
I’ve come around to bringing back Danault. We need his production to recover, but from talking with some Kings fans there’s a lot more blame going to the coach than Danault. There’s absolutely some locker room tension there so I’ll look more at his body of work, and he’s been a great 2C/middle-six centre for the Kings.
Even without that production, he does some things very well. Elite defensively, good on face-offs, an excellent penalty killer (and LA’s most used forward on the PK). That’s a big add to a team that has struggled at times with possession. Montreal doesn’t necessarily need a lot more firepower in the bottom six – they need them to win their minutes and not hurt the team. Danault can do that.
Biggest problem is the obvious, 0g and 5a in 30 games, along with a contract that expects more – 5.5m/yr for the rest of this year and next. Don’t know how they’re sorting the cap out…
Bonne saint’an
Danault should help with the brain dead defensive coverage most nights.
I’ll take it. 3rd line left shot C. Considering what Leafs gave up to get Laughton last year. I’ll take it.
Are you awake?! Tabarnak his back
Won’t hurt on the faceoffs
Harris pour Laine et Danault
i mean im glad hes back home all things considered. a 2nd rounder is not nothing considering his stat line but hopefully he can get his offensive game back and at least be serviceable defensively. LA originally asked for jake evans and no way in hell HuGo is that stupid lol
mouhahahaha 2nd round pick. Happy nobody gets out. Salary piss me off a bit but for a year and 1/2. We’ve got money. (And, we don’t know yet…maybe they retain salary….)

Welcome back king
**Looks like pizza’s back on the menu, boys!**
I mean sure, why not. Welcome home
Wish it was a 3rd, but this is a really good add for us! Take some pressure off Suzuki.
Bonne St-Jean! 🍕
Let’s not try and make him a top-6 guy again. That the worrying part for me. He can’t be more than a 3rd line centre.
To me its about giving Susuki less d zone minutes

How many Quebecers Habs have? Most in a while I think. Matheson, Carrier, Danault, Bolduc, Monty, Texier actually from France. Still. Lot of French in this locker room. Good to see.
Jordan Harris traded for Patrick Laine and Phillip Daneault
