Jets vs. Avalanche | NHL Highlights | December 19, 2025

Flung ahead by Javon Tes. McKinnon couldn’t hang
on. ABS don’t have it. Natures with a shot. Saved by Helen to scoop it back underneath this catching
glove. Gets on the counterattack. Now Kyle Connor, one of the more underrated players in the league.
That’s gloved by Wedge when his Valardi let it fly. Gave Valardi cut off in the abs zone was
barren as Manson had the body position all the way up now for Landiskog. And the Abs are on the
counterattack of their own. Nelson got through. Here comes Nelson with a wrist shot and a kick
save by Hell and that looked too easy. Help tested might finally Brock Nelson does not look
like he’s moving fast. But when you’re 6’4 and you’re that lanky, you have great speed and motion
calling was going to move first. Hob stands up, holds his ground, just kicks that left pad out
looking like his MVP self right there. Looked like Nelson was waiting for Halabuk to make
the first move and really just stayed solid. Bar and wide. He’ll throw it off the back of the
gate. that had no chance and Lowry tried to catch Wedgewood a little bit off guard. Could not.
Floated down deep and that hit a leg. It’s wide to the net. They just got cut down and poke check
right as he got across the blue line. Back from a car ahead to the forehand. He’ll shoot it. A save
by Habib. So Connor Hellabuk heavily involved in this game denying two great a scoring chances for
the S. Peak with a wrist shot stopped there by W. He looked up didn’t realize how much time he had
guys and that was a nice beautiful blocker save head up all the way looking across top line is
still on for Jared Benar McKinnon over for Nas filling in Gerard just off the bench jams it for
Nes he’ll look at it shoot saved by Heluck and he’ll jump on top Scott Arneal. It’s the first
match up of the year between these two teams. Landisk jams it up top. Malichi with a wrist shot
and a save by Hleuck. Got it right in his gut and he’ll hold on inside the Winnipeg zone. The guys
get as much out of it probably more than the kids. Just a wonderful thing. A lot of sticks being
swatted. Ads are doing a great job standing up in the blue line creating some turnovers and
making sure they utilize that for offense. Love save by Wedgewood on Devon, excuse me, on
Jonathan Taves. Up to Burns. It goes. He’ll flip it deep. Bren Burns is so good at that, guys.
He’s getting into the forehand real quick and sailing. Here’s Burns again. Looks in. Sets it
down. No. Score. Jackie was being tied up at the hashes. It deflects in right inside the post
and the ABS have a one- nothing lead. I think this one off of Winnipeg. And if it did, it’ll
be his fifth of the season and he’s now riding a six-game point streak. Well, you could see
Brent Burns taking an extra half second. That puck is rolling. He’s looking for Jack Drury.
Bounces over his stick. This all started as the defensive blue line. Kimmy Ron’s out
battling Logan Stanley for the puck and results in an ABS goal in the offensive zone.
Cycling it around off of Molinsky. Olson says, “I’ll spin it ahead.” Feathered for Colton rink
wide has got it there. Gerrard throws it to the front of the net and stopped by Hell. Perfetti
to the point. Stanley has to kick that one to his plate. Standing at the side of the net was
former Avalanche Domestikov and the abs on the counterattack. McKinnon walks in finds Nesious
score. Marty Nius rips it past the glove head of Halib and the ABS have taken a two nothing
lead. How about the patience of Nation Nathan McKinnon and then the release of Morty Nes. That’s
perfection right there. Our Tur Lack and getting it up to Nathan McKinnon who was flying the zone.
The patience and the pass. Little saucer pass right here over the tape of Stanley and Marty
Nas on the stick and off so quick. Regs never gives Hellabuck a chance to get set. Well, and
Marty Nas, which I love, absolutely outskirts their young gunfetti 91. Nas might have been a
little fresher, but he the near linesman said it was going to be an icing. Waved off as Morrisy.
Got kick save there by W. Justice want to kill off some seconds. The AS want to grab that puck
back and have another opportunity. Long shot by Valinsky and it’s glove by Hellbook. He’ll just
settle things down. He will not give it up. Lar tried to slide it to the far side. 15 left to go
here. Period one. Jets keep it in. That long shot stopped by Wwood. Rebound. Loose P. Kept out. And
is it out of the net? If it is, it’s a miracle. Long stretch pass finds Olson. He’ll race
in. He’s got speed to the forehand and he shoots it just wide. Victor Olson
got sprung. What a great stretch pass. Clock is down. Moresy shoots. Saved by Whipple
with a blocker as the crowd continues. Comes to Macar McKinnon. Oh, make that I’m sorry. Nature’s
with a one-time. McKinnon had vacated the area. Stopped by Hellbook at the post area. Up it comes
now. Back it goes. Brley across looking. What a safe rebound. Loose puck. It’s already power
play. Working the puck around and Bridley with a beautiful entry. Tic-tac-toe over to Olson.
And you could see Nachuskin crashing the net. Lechan crashing the net. I don’t think Heluck
knew where this puck was. It ends up in between his legs. He’s facing the wrong direction. And you
can see Lechan still going at it. Takes a glove to the front of his bench now. Weaves down the right
wing. Lar picks him up. That steered to the point. And here’s Dlo. Long floating shot blockered
away by Wedgewood saw the entire way. Shley, one of the more underrated stars in the
National Hockey League. Quick shot there and that’s off the mask. It caught Wedgewood
right in the mask. Does that hurt big time? It does not feel good. I was right down here. He
looked right up just to try and track that puck. But those hockey mask groups for goalenders are
fairly insulated. Almost like a football helmet, but it’s it still stuns you. Here’s Nelson.
Nice to drive. Gives up with his shot. Save the rebound. Tipped wide to the net. Bucking
to the near corner. It’s Kyle Connor. He’ll send it across. Pianc has room. What a tow
drag by Nelson. You know that he’s feeling it. He’s pulling that tow drag out nearly every
game lately. Shyle the corner. What a terrific pass. What’ you see be forehead, man. And then
here’s the push that How fast do they hit? How fast did they hit it? That shot was about 72
mph. He had no chance. Yeah. Top shot Bruce about in a game. Pearson is in. Wants to give it
up. Has nowhere to go. Cycles it off for Fetty now. Bumps it for Taves. Stanley with a long shot.
Stopped by Wedgewood. Loose puck as trying to get to their goalie and Pearson choked it wide. Back
it comes for Stanley. Straight on top as denial. De Ro finds Kelly fires. How would Bruce fire give out save
by Lanen joins the strum and popped out James trying to pitch his way down
the boards McKinnon gives it off McCle that’s why he was the MVP last year Ice Olson will dump it in pitch for by St. Save
by not a big fan of that. ABS still hold the two nothing lead. Uh oh, see that pass right there.
Fired ahead and Drury is in. Tried to center it. I was told I got to be nice over here. So I’m K
with a wrist shot. What a save by Y know. Y’all know I’m the chirper on the Nuggets. So I mean
chirping gets me going. That’s why I do it in the game. It gives me real a lot then cuz somebody
else start starts talking to me. You know that third is going to be tough but they’re down by
two. Here comes Mau. He’s flying. Gives it up for McKinnon off the left. Oh my goodness. What a
save by tripping your on the TV in front of you. Uh the guys are pushing in transition. Great shot.
Just missed. Kale gets the rebound and he gets tripped. Max with the draw. M slides it off. into
the slot. Deflected. Saved by Hellos. Hard off the boards. Down it goes. Watch out. Oh no. Baron is
deep. The car’s in. Baron scores. Oh no, that’s not the cut I was talking about. Short-handed
goal from Morgan Baron has made it a 21 game. Well, this one just ricochets off the glass and
takes the perfect hop for Morgan Baron who’s got all the speed and I don’t even know it’s right
in front of me how he got that on the back end and pass Wedgwood guys cuz he feels Kale Mard
pressure there and is somehow still able to get that in and that’s what we call Bruce Cyb.
That’s a gamechanging momentum goal for the Jets. And again guys, we’ll be taking a look from Marty
Nes at some point. Haven’t heard a word about him yet. Well, she was on the ice that first
power play. Oh, you’re right. He was my So, we’re all good. My bad. You’re exactly
right. Shot score. Parker Kelly got a piece of it. Able to deflected by Helluck.
And the ABS have taken a 3-1 lead. Kelly, I’m pretty sure this is a double screen, but
the entry from Balushkin makes it. He draws two plays and you can see Parker Kelly taking
away Hellab’s eyes. You talked about it. Mo, he’s made some hellacious saves so far this
game. But when you take away his eyes and get a little tip in front of him, Nushkin demands it.
He wants to take the one-time, but realize he has more time in that little shot right there. Riker
in the deflection from Parker Kelly. I certainly didn’t see that either. Jets back on the power
play right in the slot down low. Redirected score and that took 6 seconds. Spark Shiffley able to
get a piece of that one and the Jets are on the board again for Shley. His 17th of the season
play as pressuring off the face off. You can see B go Kelly go and Drury swipes that away from
Connor. Unfortunately goes right onto the tape of Gustaf Nyquist and Mark Shley. That’s a perfect
redirection past Wedgewood. Nothing that he can do but it’s that swipe from Drury which causes it
to go out to Nyquist. Normally that would exit the zone and pops it off for Nelson all the way to the
point. Here’s Mar Kale. Rips it for Taves. Floats it deep and a save by Hellbook on the rear.
511 185 finishing that check and Dave Landog. Long lead pass finds Parker Kel Nelson is
in. Bro Nelson walks in and shoots. Oh my goodness. Off the crossbar. gets that
dungeon. Barely legal. Comes across, shoots to a screen. Yeah, everything’s okay
according to the officials. To the far side with two to go, one to go and that’s going to
do it. The Avalanche beat the Winnipeg Jets.

  1. Colorado is unbelievable! They’re just so dominant in every aspect of the game (we won’t talk about the power play 😂) I’d be shocked if they’re not hoisting the Cup in June!
