Cooper Flagg and the Mavericks just TRICKED the NBA…

Super Flag and the Dallas Mavericks tricked the NBA because after starting their season 5 and 15, they’ve rallied and won six of their last eight, including a two-point win against the East Best Detroit Pistons. At least record-wise, they are. And Cooper Flag looks like a star over his last few games. Anthony Davis when healthy makes this team so much better, and we’ll talk about that in the video. And then once they get Kyrie Irving back, look out because this could be a team that could sneak into the play line and make some noise. And speaking of Cooper Flag, that is what he has been doing all week long, making noise, using his link there to disrupt things defensively. And then, oh my goodness, welcome to the league, kid. Go ahead and baptize Kate Cunningham one time. But there’s a ton that he can do with that 69 frame with a 71 wingspan, including this little mid-range, which he seems to have mastered early in his career. If he gets the mismatch versus a big, he’s going to get him going downhill and then stop and pop in the mid-range like he does right here against Isaiah Stewart. Jenkins tries to deflect it, but can’t get it. And I like what Jason Kit does here, getting him into this action to get a big onto him so he can get him going downhill. And then he can either stop or go finish at the rim. That’s what he does there. Knocks it down. He finished with 23 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, three blocks, and a steal. Now, efficiencywise, it wasn’t his best night. Only eight of 20 from the field, and 0 of four from beyond the arc. But that mid-range and then getting to the rim is where he’s at his best with a big time jam right there. That pick and roll between Flag and AD is kind of nasty. And he took on the closer roll last night. He got deterred right here with a minute left, but that didn’t stop him. He’s going right back at Isaiah Stewart for the big bucket there to close it to one. They get a stop, come back down mid-range jumper right over the top of Stewart once again. With Kyrie out, they need a closer and that’s what Flag was last night both in regulation and in OT. I’m going to call that a lob for the sake of him being the closer. And then he finds AD right here for the easy dunk. And against the Jazz, like I said, he broke one of LeBron’s records. He’s the youngest player in NBA history to ever drop 40 points with a 42.7 rebound, six assists, three steel performance at just 18. His birthday is not until December 21st. He is absolutely elite. And these reads that he was making are just as elite. Chrissy’s going to cut through. It looks like it’s going to be a zoom screen here for Klay Thompson to get something coming off, but he just reads this. He sees Kyle Anderson’s back completely turned and just gets right to the rim. Same thing here. all the actions going on. He sees he’s got a one-on-one with Ace Bailey and he just beats him to the rim for the and one or should have been and one. I feel like anytime somebody throws their hands up, that’s kind of automatic for a foul. Over the last eight games, he’s been playing some really good basketball. 25 1.5 points a night, 6.4 rebounds, 3.6 assist, 2.3 stocks in 35 minutes, shooting 52% from the field. The problem is he’s three for 20 from three over that eightgame stretch and is only shooting 24% on the year. Although I have faith that he will get that right. Now Anthony Davis, this is not a typo. It took him until this point in the game to get his first bucket. At the six-minute mark in the third quarter, betterers were very upset. But AD did come on to end up scoring 15 points to go with his 14 rebounds, three blocks, two assists in 37 minutes. And did that on seven of 18 shooting from the field was one of two from beyond the arc. Big body right here. Sorry Ball Paul, but you just got sunned. And then right here, the offensive rebound, crashing the glass, just getting everybody else out of the way. He’s averaging a little under 20 a game, which is very low for AD, but he’s only playing 30 minutes a night, and this is only a 12game sample size due to injuries. However, the Mavs are 7 and5 with Anthony Davis, four and 12 without him. So, if he can continue to be healthy and eventually they get Kyrie back, huge block right there, which led to the Cooper Flag bucket. If they can continue to be healthy and then get Kyrie back, this is a team that could make some serious noise in the playoffs with Flag. Now, look at this. Jenkins is going to try to rotate down to take away this box out. AD says no sir and just goes and gets the offensive rebound and dunks it. And then once again right here, that would ultimately be the game-winning bucket. And this big three, like I said, is really exciting because once you get Kyrie back, you’ve got that guy that’s just an automatic scoreer. Coupe can play off the ball like he has been lately where he’s been so good. And Kyrie’s a guy that averages 25 a game with 4.8 rebounds, 4.6 assists in 35 minutes while shooting 47% from the field. and 40% from three on seven attempts. We don’t know at what point in the year he’ll be back, but we do know that he is ahead of schedule and it’s going to be really any time now over the next couple few months. I guess that’s not really any time now, but sooner rather than later, Kyrie Irving should be back. And when he is, the big three is going to be there. And then the role guys are also going to be able to step up because they’ll be back in their normal roles. Like PJ Washington, he’s not going to be asked to go out there and get 20 a night. He’s going to be asked to go out there, get 13 or 14, and play really good defense. He’s on the year averaging 16 a game with seven rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 2.1 stocks in 32 minutes a game, shooting 45% from the field and 33% from three. And he’s still just 27 years old. So, he fits the timeline for a guy like Cooper, even though Coupe is 9 years younger, which is kind of crazy. But at 6’7 with that 73 wingspan, they do have him on a pretty solid contract, paying him about $18 million a year. over the next four years. That’s not bad whatsoever, especially with the salary cap continuing to rise. Uses that wingspan to get the block and then it looks like he parachuted in from the rafters right there getting that putback dunk. Late game situation, he just bullies his way into a bucket. They also have Max Christie who is another really good role player and I think he is the hidden gem of the Anthony Davis trade because nobody really talks about him, but he’s been hooping as of late. 11.2 points per game, 3.3 rebounds, 1.2 to assist in a stock in 28 minutes. And he has been filling it up from beyond the arc. And that is honestly an understatement. 46% from three through 27 games. And he’s doing that on 5.3 attempts per night. That is a really, really healthy percentage to say the least. And he’s still 22 years old, which is the craziest part. Absolute dead eyee from deep. As you can see here, 93% of the people that watch this videos are not subscribed. If that’s you, let’s go ahead and fix that. And then talk about Ryan Nhard, who as a starter is averaging 12- seven with 2.4 rebounds and 27 minutes a game, shooting 58% from the field, 55% from three on three and a half attempts. As a UDFA, these Nim Hards are just different, bro. They are a different breed between Ryan and Andrew. I mean, his brother was walking down the MVP in the finals just months ago. And now the other brother has become a legitimate piece on this Mavericks team. Yes, he can be targeted because of his height, but still he has been legit. He’s he’s playing closing minutes as well. Naji Marshall is always good for a couple tough slashes to the rim per game, potentially an and one. You’ve got Brandon Williams, who of the three non- Kyrie guards, I’d say I’d give him the flashiest award. I don’t know if that’s a a good award or not, but he also always has some flare to his game right here. Tough buck. It should have been an and one. Got the uh foul baiting. If that was like Luca or somebody, it would have been an and one, but pulls up, knocks it down over Jay Na’vi. Sorry, Mazan. I probably shouldn’t be mentioning Luca in this video. Uh they also have Megan the Stallion’s boyfriend who can still shoot it a little bit, but seems to have uh regressed from his former self, which makes sense. He’s like 35ish, 38% shooting from the field, 36% from three. They got DLO who’s still loading at this point in his career. 19 minutes a game. The efficiency is not there. I was really hoping he’d be a good piece for this Mavs team, but so far he has not. Then you have Daniel Gaffford who alongside of AD. AD obviously wants to play the four. Gaffford can play the five, but without Lively, he’s going to be having to play a full workload instead of just the 21 minutes a game in that split in the front court. And for Lively, it’s a little bit concerning that he is once again missing more time. He’s missed 176 games in the last 3 years. Luckily, he’s still 21, but as a Hornets fan, I know how that feels because it feels like LaMelo has missed the same amount of games over the last three years. With that being said, that’s going to be it for today’s video. Thanks so much for watching. 1. Write it down.
Kyrie back after the all star break (Feb 20th vs Minnesota) for the final 22 games. That’s about 355 days since his injury. If the Mavs are playing for anything. It will be a magical night.

  2. 7:59 ……Klay is well over 40% over the last month on 7-8 attempts a game.
Still stout on defense but it’s his destiny to be back in golden state within the next 2-6 months.
    It’s written in the stars.

  3. Atlanta Hawks BREAKDOWN you're next video Backyard Buckets 😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤

  4. Great… Now all we need to do is hire a clown from Adidas or Reebok to forge a relationship with the Lakers GM, then orchestrate a middle of the night trade with the Lakers for a 60 year old equipment manager and a lifetime supply of towels … all with the blessings of our clown owner.. whe we manage to convince that this time we're going to be proven right for trading the one real asset for nothing, and we're all set

  5. They string together a few wins and now they're tricking the NBA? Man you content creators really put out the dumbest things. Dallas is still at 11 wins at this point. Let me tell you, as a fan I'd rather have them winning than "tricking" people or whatever crap you want to say.

  6. Love Coop, he got an old school midrange game. Plus he's a freaking athlete, dunking on everybody. He's not like these other guys who just do boring step back threes.

  7. I love how everyone is saying we could make the play in. If my Mavs get Kyrie back. We will 100% climb into the top 7 if not Top 6. If they can just keep pace like they are and keep their heads obove water and stay afloat in the mix somewhat. Play in??? Yall are shooting way too low with this team…

  8. Give me a break, lol. Anyone who knows ball, knew this team had all the makings of a real contender. Only thing missing is an elite guard that can score off the bounce and shoot… Oh wait, Kyrie Irving is on his way back.

  9. Flagg is a good player, but how long will it last? I would think it will last somewhere between a couple a months and 2 decades. Hard to tell at this point. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

  10. didnt trick me… yall gave nico 8 games and an injujred AD and Kyrie before saying yall are trash and fck nico his plan didnt work…. everyone expects thier team to go undefeated…. its so annoying… everyone overeacts to any loss
