Amanda Stein has tweeted: “Timo Meier is back from his personal leave and activated off non-roster.
Sheldon Keefe said last night he expected to get some bodies back for Sunday… well this certainly is a big boost.”
so it looks like Timo is definitely back.
happy to have him back and sending him all the love
Keefe said he expected bodies (plural) back tomorrow. So that’s one. Grits seems the most likely other candidate.

I’m not 100% familiar with the roster freeze rules. Does it prohibit the team from activating players from IR, or just sending them up or down, considering that the Devils just freed up two roster spots and theoretically still have one available.

I truly hope his family situation was resolved in the best way possible. Can’t wait to see this beast back on the ice!
