If fan organizations in the UK can protest loudly enough to keep prices for Premier League tickets affordable, then why can’t Braves fans unite to do the same. Going to the ballgame at Truist Park costs insane amounts of money. I can’t afford it anymore. Anybody wanna unite and get loud?

Did you read the article? The whole thing is about explaining why it’s different lol

It’s also incredibly hard to go to those games, especially if you’re not a hardcore fan. I’m a big Liverpool fan and every single one of those games is sold out. For teams with enough demand, if the tickets are cheaper the demand goes through the roof so you’re still probably not going anyway
You can still go to a lot of weeknight games at a relatively affordable rate. Also, bring your own gallon Ziploc bag with food and bottled water so you don’t have to buy concessions. You can make it work still in MLB at a decent price.
Tell that to the 2025 Braves. Those tickets were cheap!
Tickets are expensive because obviously a huge number of people are willing to pay for them. Artificially lowering prices will just make it a race to buy tickets, and then create a huge black market of scalpers who sell the tickets for what they’re actually worth.
